The Maryland
My latest house, The Maryland, might look familiar to you. That's because this is my Officially Wacky BoolProp Challenge house. I just finished it in game and decided to offer it for download.
The Maryland is a three bedroom, four bathroom home with a nursery. It is designed for my peculiar playability with a teen/child play room filled with Gamer career rewards and an extensive skills room in the basement, energizer rooms in the basement and on the ground floor, a child/teen study room on the ground floor and a two room nursery upstairs, but it still could work for standard play as it wouldn't take much to convert the rooms. The double doors on two of the bedrooms upstairs are to keep the Bad Apple out of them by locking each of the doors to "Allow Only Me" for each of the two occupants of the room. The Study Room is my way of keeping track of homework. Once they get an A in school they don't need to do homework that night. You can use that homework book to "reserve" a spot on one of the tables and they will take all future assignments there. After they finish that next night's homework, as soon as the meter starts spinning down you can cancel the interaction and they won't even touch the lower assignment thus keeping their place. When you have six kids it makes it much easier to keep track of who has what homework and whether or not it's done.
Note: Ignore the stuff in the pictures that requires stuff packs. I felt guilty and took all stuff pack required stuff out at the last minute. No stuff packs are needed!

Homes are not constructed alone of brick and stone and wood. These are merely the materials out of which the walls are fashioned. Artistic structures like The Maryland are simply inviting, comfortable places where ambitious hearts can quietly and undistrubed build homes of culture, refinement and love which neither climate nor man can mar.
This lot features pre-set camera angles. Just hit numbers 4-5 to have good vantage points for playing all of the main areas of the lot.

These are merely recommendations, I know what the lot contains and what bugs might bite you with the current contents, most of these hacks are to either fix the bugs or prevent annoyances. Please read the manuals and only download the ones you think would work best for your game.

I also highly, highly, highly recommend replacing the following things:
- The outside bath tub with Simlogical's Dog Bath that you can find under Sims 2 Downloads > Petting. You can find my recolors to make it match the current one here.
- The children's room's beds with Trianon bunk beds that you can find on MTS2 here. When you go to place the bed in game, the light wood color on the first page of frame colors to the left blends in best with the room.
