Serafina Sapphire Founds Something Truly Wacky
I'm sorry that I'm taking a bit of a break from my legacy playing. But, they will be back and before too long! I'm dong a small deviation in the form of something Truly Wacky. By playing my own challenge that I wrote for BoolProp, The Officially Wacky BoolProp Challenge, where I put together all of my zaniest challenge ideas in one place. I also attempted to make the challenge short, fun and easy. Well, two out of three ain't bad, this was far from easy!
A few notes about CC and the neighborhood. I have geneticized and NPC available skins by Enayla installed (all the ones from her Pixie set, basically) so there are 24 possible skin tones you will see NPCs, townies, etc show up in. Another thing, instead of just being either s1 or s2 babies can be born with either the mother's s1, the father's s2 or the several skintones that have been assigned inbetween when they were geneticized. Much, much more variety in skin tones both in playables and non-playables alike. Secondly, eyes, I have a set of 24 towniefied and geneticized eyes, Enayla's eyes for the eyeless from Insim, this means townies can have any of the 24 eye colors and the custom ones outside of the range of six standard eyes have been given normal genetics so they aren't always dominant. Thirdly, I have new face templates in, so you'll notice a difference in the faces of the Sims. Fourthly, I have a clean empty neighborhood so there are no default townies. Finally, I have my new mythology name hack installed. So everyone has cool names too. Now, moving on to the challenge.
Meet Serafina Sapphire. And, yes, there are pink sapphire's, they're quite beautiful actually. She's a neat freak Knowledge Sim with a penchant for the paranormal. She has a lifetime want to max her skills. The easiest LTW in the game. I tried and failed this challenge once with her as an adult and am trying again with her going to college first.
"I like pink, supposedly that works in my favor."
She has registered as a Mathematics major and inbetween working on her skills, her grades, and her friend base she comes to the cafeteria to chow down on some mac and cheese, a girl after my own heart. Across from her is Salacia Amity and the cute boy across the room is Urshanabi Whetstone and I do believe that Serafina has caught his eye.
"He's cute too, does he like pink?"
But, of course, before things got interesting the cheerleader busted in. I don't remember her first name, just that her last name was Lightfoot, an appropriate name for a cheerleader. This one, though, looks more like she belongs in Hicksville then out here in Galatea (the name of the town, by the way).
"Give me an H! Give me an I! Give me a C! What's that spell? Wait, what? I forgot something?"
The cafeteria lady is incompetent. She catches herself on fire at least three times in Serafina's time here. That's not counting the times she just catches the food on fire. Then we're approaching double digits.
"Whew! Hot! Hot!"
Here's a close up view of Urshanabi, who has developed a habit of following Serafina around the dorm. With no prompting from me, by the way. He is also a Knowledge Sim like Serafina with a LTW to max his skills.
"Where's that pink girl at? I like pink..."
This is Brahm Inailia. Another Knowledge Sim with a LTW to max his skills. He was briefly in the running to be Serafina's spouse but I like Urshanabi better.
"I don't do pink. What do you mean my shirt is kinda pink?"
Another dormie friend of Serafina's is Owain Blatherwell. I love this guy's last name. He's a Knowledge Sim with a LTW to become a Mad Scientist. I think these guys are going to come in handy down the road. Don't you?
"As long as I get to keep my mohawk I'm game."
Serafina settled into a schedule of skilling and school work.
"Wow, did you know that Flamingos can change their diet and not be pink?"
Even while doing this, though, Urshanabi was still like Serafina's own personal shadow.
"Flamingos... not be pink? No way!"
Every morning after she woke up I had her shower and then go outside and dig. You can dig in the same spot once you have a hole already and I had her queue it up about eight or nine times and just keep on digging to find treasure.
"Fun! But, messy..."
Urshanabi showed up and plopped down to do his homework just feet away so he could watch her while he worked.
"My woman is so hard working..." "I'm not your woman you berk!"
"She totally knows your spying on her, dude." "I know."
Serafina managed to dig up 25,000+ worth of stuff over her school years. Including several, several treasure maps, treasure chests, and more bones and rocks then you could shake a stick at.
Meanwhile she managed to maintain a 4.0 and made great progress on maxing her skills.
"How is it that I work out for hours and don't stink and she spends all day lounging around the quad and stinks to high heaven?"
Soon she was working on her logic, I shouldn't have been surprised that Urshanabi sat down as her first opponent.
"May I challenge you to a match my lady love?" "Oh, brother."
I had her invite Brahm to her second game. I figured now was a good a time as ever to get those relationships up.
"Seriously, why can't you marry me again? I mean, the guy likes pink for goodness sake!" "What's wrong with pink?!"
This is more to show off the dormie behind her. Doesn't she look a lot like Xena: Warrior Princess? Except for the red eyes, of course...
"That girl could totally kick my butt."
More digging. More stalking. This time throw in a creepy professor in the mix. One that seemed more interested in checking out Serafina's butt then her brains.
"Just keep digging. They'll go away eventually."
Between the money from the stuff she dug up and her good grades she had over 50k at the time of graduation. I had her buy up expensive things and pack them into her inventory so that she had no money when she actually graduated. That way the school ended up giving her 20k for free. Now it was time to strike out and found this challenge!
Next time: a home, matrimony, and first generation!

I absolutely love your stories! I've been looking blogs that actually don't die out..AND have quality work.
BTW, I absolutely love your townies in this challenge! Where did you get them? I already downloaded Enyala (sp?)'s eyes.

I love this challenge you've started and Serafina is gorgeous. I hope she doesn't fall for that pitch black guy because he is too dark like seriously. I'm glad I finally found a Legacy that's up to date most Legacy blogs are from 05. Keep up the good work :DD
