Cael Windling Gets Abducted
All right, I'm finally back and ready to blog out the last of sixth generation, in the next few entries that is. At the main house all there is now is Cerebrus, my heir, his wife Veronica and their youngest child Erebrus. Erebrus has nine older brothers and sisters who are now all off at college. Also at home is Mercury, of course, and Cerebrus' brother Cael.
But, enough about the home lot, it was time to play college for a bit. First off I owed Vijaya an outing. As she was so outgoing I took her and her fellow Greeks to a gym downtown.
"Oh, yes, I do hold the record for fastest completion of the obstacle course back home, now that you mention it, but enough about the past let's break some new records with the great stuff they have here!"
Vidya was the first to wander off once I maxed the outing meter and allowed them to do their own thing. She made a bee line for the hot tubs upstairs and promptly joined two Windling gals already in residence, completely naked.
"No, I don't think this is awkward, why would this be awkward?"
Verdandi meanwhile sat down at the nearest chess table and started playing a sinister game of chess, against herself.
"Hah! What do you think about that opening move? She won't even know what hit her."
Soon night fell and one by one the Windlings started pooping out on me. Poor things. Thankfully a needs boost heralded the end of the outing and so I was able to get them all back home and tucked into bed without any of them passing out on me.
"Gosh, I'm so tired I can't even throw a dart straight anymore... whoops sorry Verdandi."
After that outing Damon was finally old enough to graduate. He rolled an innapropriate aspiration and thus was not going to be heir.
"I guess life downtown won't be so bad."
Time passed while I worked on the next pledge. The twins Verdandi and Vidya had really low social. I had gotten them into a bad schedule. And, so I had them interact for awhile to chase the dreaded social bunnies away.
"Who are you laughing at? Me? Someone behind me? Who?"
Soon they were back in a good schedule with the rest of the house and were back to eating pizza and socializing like normal.
"This bunny was how big? And, what color?" "Can it."
Finally I managed to pledge in Anaitis. The oldest of Cerebrus and Veronica's children.
"A whole new brand of Windling is in the house."
On that note I switched back to playing the main house. I moved Damon on through, shaking him down for money and elixer bottles before kicking him out to an apartment.
"Lame."
And, with good timing. That night someone was abducted by aliens.
"Can you believe that? The person abducted by aliens turned out to be-" "Don't care, gotta pee!"
Cael, of course, was returned safe and sound, though pregnant of course.
"Hurray, more babies in the house!"
And, yes, that's babies plural. Or at least it was by the time I was done with him.
"Nom, nom, nom."
What a Christmas gift for me! The next day I got out a tree and had Cerebrus call over friends and family to celebrate Christmas at Windling Gables. Before the guests managed to get safely inside the front gate, I noticed a wolf stalking one of the guests. I remembered poor Chloe being run off from her brother's wedding, but then it was too late.
"Ah, it's a wolf! Get in the car!"
But, then Anaitis surprised me. For all that she was an adopted Windling she turned out to be made of sterner stuff then a blood one.
"Bad! Bad dog! No steak for you!"
And, on that note, the festivities began.
"Merry Christmas, Eros!"
"Merry Christmas, Cupid!"
The party went off without another hitch.
"Merry Christmas, Louhi! See you at New Years!"
As soon as all of the guests were safely off the lot, the Christmas tree caught on fire.
"Figures."
None of my Sims panicked about it but I have to rouse Veronica out of bed to call the fire department.
"It's an emergency! Our Christmas tree just caught on fire! What do you mean, again?"
Santa did not pay the Windlings a visit that Christmas.
And, finally, it was Saturday again.

Yay, another update! I love those alien skintones you've got, not to mention all the aliens you've got! Heehee, I love this family! And the Christmas party was great, even if Santa didn't show up.
