Vidya Futa Gets Abducted
Wow, sorry for the brief hiatus there. I got swamped at work big time! Why is this always such a busy time of year for me? Anyway, I also finally got my game together enough to play again (sans Bon Voyage for now). So I played it for a teensy tiny bit last night and now I'm all confused. Who is supposed to be where? Gah!
To recap, for your benefit and mine, my heir is currently Branwen and she is living with her husband Orion, the family zombie Mercury, Alvin's twin daughters Verdandi and Vidya and Karna's twin children Vijaya and Vikrama. Now I am concentrating on emptying the house out to get started on sixth generation's second bloodline. But first, since I had left the Christmas decorations up, much to Karna's chagrin, Santa thought that meant we wanted him to visit for the second night in a row.
"Ho! Ho! Ho! I love this song."
The household largely ignored the second visit. Branwen and Orion took over caring for Karna's twins in the wake of his unfortunate passing.
"And, here I thought I was all through with changing diapers."
In the midst of taking care of the younger set of twins, the older set were outside stargazing, as I had them do every night of their teenhood. This night I got lucky. Even Santa came out to freak out over the abduction, though that wore off soon enough and he was back to his Ho! Ho! Ho!'s. Not much can keep the man in red down.
"Life on other planets? Do they have good boys and girls too? I'm going to need a bigger sleigh..."
Back in the nursery the babies quietly noted the abduction as well, Vikrama from his crib, and Vijaya from where she had been abandoned on the floor.
"Da-Da..."
While Vidya spent some one on one time with her father, Verdandi continued work on her billiards scholarship.
"So not fair, we do everything together and now she gets to be abducted and I don't?"
Soon Vidya returned plenty chipper for her trip to see her other father. Even Santa was there to welcome her back.
"Hey guys! Hi Santa! What did I miss?"
As a delayed reaction she freaked out very slightly about the fact that she was abducted.
"Holy Plumbob! Does that spaceship above my head mean what I think it means?"
After all of that excitement was over and done with New Years rolled around. Before the party got started I grew up the younger set of twins Vijaya and Vikrama. Here is Vijaya.
"I can has hairy pit?"
And, here is Vikrama.
"Hai guys!"
And, here they are together in matching clothing.
"The cuteness, we has it."
Soon the party was underway. Since it started at nightfall that meant I actually got to invite over a vampire. So I invited over Valene who was still a vampire at college (until she passed on her bite that is) and has her start working on her relationship with Vidya.
"What do I like to do in my free time? Well, you know, the usual... fly around, hang out in my coffin, suck some blood, you know how it is. Or, you will."
In the midst of the party I had Mercury head up to the nursery to take care of the little ones as they were raising an unholy ruckus in the nursery. Once he was done he decided he wanted to raise a ruckus too.
"Happy New Year!"
Soon Father Time showed up, shaking his hour glass to announce the end of the year.
"This year is officially over!"
"Happy New Year!" "Holy Cow Plant! Don't scare an old man like that!"
He wasn't an old man for long though, he transformed on the spot into Toddler New Year, complete with a dusting of snow on his top hat and noise maker.
"I can has New Years Party?"
I used moveobjects to get him inside and soon he was smustling to the radio.
"The moves, I has it!"
And, with that the party was over.
"Another roof raiser!"
Before long it was morning and the twins Vijaya and Vikrama were ready for another day.
"I can has teef back in mouth, please?"
For Verdandi and Vidya it was back to the homework books.
"But homework is so..." "...boring!"
That night the final discontent brought in his complaint. It was Karna, haunting the lot for the very first time.
"What happened to my cool threads?"

The cuteness- we has it! Vikrama is cute as a toddler, the poor thing will be ugly later. And what happened to matching clothing for Verdandi and Vidya? Wow, I want the Holiday pack now that I see how fun you make it look. :( (Completely unrelated note, Branwen sure does look...unfortunate from that angle in the second picture, I never realized, I always thought she was so pretty!)

In the abduction pictures it's because Vidya was in her outerwear and Verdandi ran out to greet her on her return in her everday wear, that's why they're dressed differently.
Unforuntately a lot of my Sims don't really look that great (the blood ones especially) because I breed based on their spouse being an NPC of a certain aspiration, not their looks. I work hard with make-up/hair/outfit/camera angles to make them look good in spite of it. I'm not always successful. :D
