Karna Windling Dies by Electrocution
So now there were six Sims in the house, my heir Branwen and her husband Orion, the family zombie Mercury and Alvin's twin daughters Verdandi and Vidya. And now there was Karna who, of course, was now pregnant with twins of his own.
"This cheesecake tastes good! Om nom nom..."
Once I had him all cheesecaked up I had him make the call so that he could earn §100,000 so that I could have him concentrate on his pregnancy.
"Wow, that was easy."
Things weren't so easy for the rest of the household. The twins were struggling along with homework and skill scholarships.
"Homework..." "...stinks."
Soon another Saturday rolled around.
First bloodline, sixth generation: from left to right in the back are Mercury and Karna, on the couch are Branwen and Orion and on the floor are Vidya and Verdandi.
Not long after that Saturday it was Christmas at Windling Gables.
"Everyone comes home for Christmas!"
Damon and Aeolus immediately started jamming to the radio while Cupid and Dylan started chatting it up. I had Orion start to work the crowd, beginning with Valkyrie.
"Merry Christmas, now let's party!"
I also took the oppurtunity to have the twins start to work on their relationship for the daisy chain.
"So what do you think our new half siblings will look like?"
Meanwhile Valora, Chloe and Andrea play pool in the billiards room. (I am certain this is Andrea which means the lady in red from the previous entry was Ivy.)
"So, whose turn is it?"
Back in the entry hall Valkyrie and Dylan are now dancing in front of the christmas tree while Orion lets Cupid in on a little gossip.
"You won't believe this until you see it, but your brother Karna got abducted by aliens. And he's pregnant. He looks like a whale, you should see him!"
Sure enough Karna had waddled down from the nursery to tell the good news to his cousin Valkyrie.
"So that means we're cousins, and I'm about to be a father to two of your half siblings! Isn't that wonderfully confusing?"
Back in the entrance hall trouble was brewing. I had Orion start to renew his relationsip with his daughter Valora only to see directly behind them the beginnings of trouble. The presents had caught on fire.
"Ho, ho! I got you again! Wait a sec, do you smell that? It smells like something's burning..."
Soon the whole Chrismtas Tree had caught fire. Apparently having the tree on all day to enjoy it's twinkling lights was a bad idea.
"Someone call Sim-1-1!"
Soon nearly the entire party of people were doing a new sort of dance around the Christmas Tree.
"Ahhh! The presents!" (Well, that's what I'd be shouting.)
Once the fire was out the women raced upstairs to fight over the bathtub in the nursery. I don't know why they ignored the perfectly serviceable public showers everywhere else in the house. Valkyrie got their first and after standing around and stomping their feet for a bit Chloe and Andrea struck up a conversation in the bathroom, which struck me as very realistic. I could totally picture a goup of women doing that.
"Well, it's not like she has bits that we don't."
By the time the twins Verdandi and Vidya, that I had sent to bed soon after becoming friends as they had started to droop as the night wore on, had finished with their sleeping and were ready to be up and at 'em again, the party was over. Inspite of the fire it was still a roof raiser. That was possibly helped out by handing out some last minute expensive gifts.
"We already have A's in school..." "...so what do we need to learn more at home for?"
The day after Christmas Karna went into labor.
"This is not as easy as women make it look!"
He gave birth to a daughter and a son. The daughter, held by Orion, I named Vijaya. The son, held by Karna, I named Vikrama.
"Whew! Glad that's over with!"
Yes, so was I, because I had dastardly plans for Karna. As soon as the twins were safely tucked in their cribs I sent him out to the front porch to realise that even though it was the day after Christmas, Christmas decorations were still up.
"What's this? What's this?"
I had him pet the nice lit up reindeer until he got electrocuted.
Twice.
And then, a third time.
The third time was the charm.
The day after Christmas, too. What a shame.
Points Earned: One point for Karna earning §100,000. Two points for Alien Births (Vijaya and Vikrama). One point for new ghost color: Yellow (Karna).

Poor Karna! His kids turn out cute, even though Vikrama looks really weird with that hair you gave him. :)

Whoo yay, another ghost colour! So so far you have old age, satalite, electrocution, drowned...er...what else? Memory blank...*donk*. Have we almost caught up to your game play, though? And are you planing to do another legacy challenge after you finished this? Or will you make a story, like what Jen or Shana did? I'm so curious about the future! B) I laughed out loud with that bit "Someone call Sim-1-1!" You have great captions! ^^ And btw, where did you get that new cover for the Homework books?

Josh- Vikrama does look weird! I think it's part his hair, and part his mouth which, combined with his skintone, make him look like a frog. Maybe I'll give him a haircut the next time he age transitions in game.
Melanie - I have all the ghost colors save for three, burned, diseased, and flies. Not sure which one I'll go for next, maybe burned, maybe diseased, flies I want to save until as close to the end of the legacy challenge as possible.
We aren't quite caught up yet. We are four entries from the end of first bloodline's sixth generation. Then there are eight posts of second bloodline's sixth generation to get through. So, if I keep it up once a day we have two more weeks yet.
After I finish this I am planning to go back to my ISBI challenge. Which I'm really looking forward to! After that I do have a challenge planned that is going to involve an extensive storyline (no game play notes at all, or if they are they will be seperate and possibly only posted at the end of each segment) and will probably be my last bit for the Sims 2 as by the time that's finished the Sims 3 will probably be out.
