Cerebrus Windling Adopts Children
The house was now empty of all save the heir (Cerebrus), the spouse (Veronica), and the zombie (Mercury). Next up was adopting five kids towards the have ten children impossible want.
So now it was just a matter of waiting for the sun to rise, and the first child to arrive at 10AM. In the meantime I got Veronica a job in the Education career and had her start working on the skills for it.

"Have I ever dated any other Windling men? Um. Well..."
After getting the skills she would need for that first promotion I sent her to take a quick power nap before the sun rose.

"I'm ready for that kid now!"
She arrived first thing that morning. Her name was Anaitis and I was utterly besotted with her when I first laid eyes on her. She was just so precious looking!

"Where's my new mommy and daddy?"
I had Veronica interact with her right away until the two became friends. Then I had them have a quick lunch together before I set Anaitis to skill until nightfall.

"She almost looks like she could be my real mommy!"
The next day Louhi arrived. Louhi is just a little... off from the rest of the orphans this generation. Firstly her name started with an L (the rest start with A), secondly her nose is just a little... oddly strong. She would make an excellent witch. She certaintly has the face structure for it.

"Where's my Sampo?"
At that point Veronica had advanced enough in her career that she had unlocked the bookshelves. Which I had her make use of right away.

"Now you can learn everything from a book!"
The next day Arthur showed up. My only adopted boy this generation.

"Is there any way I can learn with a sword instead of a book?"
The day after that Adella showed up.

"Who says red heads are dying out?"
And, finally, on the fifth day the last adopted kid showed up: Anastasia.

"Being the youngest is never easy..."
With five kids in the house the place was full of chaos. Particularly the skills room as all five kids worked to try and earn all of their skill based scholarships before they were teens.

"Never a moments peace."
And, of course, at the end of a hard day of skilling I had the adults serve up a meal for the kids while they made use of the energizers.

"So, supposedly people in this family get abducted by aliens from other planets! I, for one, am looking forward to it."
And, of course, any time fun needed to be raised, the bubble blowers were called to action.

"Why go to another planet for an out of this world experience?"
Once fun was raised though, it was back to the skills room for the little ones.

"But, mommy, I'm known for breaking rare and valuable artificats. Are you sure I should be doing this?"
Soon it was Saturday again!

Sixth generation, second bloodline: from left to right across the back are Veronica, Cerebrus, Louhi, Anaitis and Mercury. Across the front are Adella, Anastasia and Arthur.
Before I knew it the eldest was a teen. For Anaitis I rolled Family.

"I wanna be a Captain Hero just like daddy! Does that mean I have to knock him off?"
I invited over Vijaya to befriend Anaitis so that the chain wouldn't be broken. The very first thing Vijaya did when she got on the lot was to start eating from the trash can.

"There's no food like home food."
I had Anaitis quick invite Vijaya inside and on to the couch to talk it out.

"I know that nothing but pizza at college is bad but I can't imagine how food out of a trash can could be much better!"
Louhi soon followed Anaitis into teenhood. For her I rolled Knowledge, with a wonderful lifetime want.

"What's a sorceress without brains?"
With all of the kids in the house Veronica and Cerebrus had hardly slept a wink. I mostly had them hopping in and out of energizers between work, helping kids study, helping kids get scholarships and cheering when the kids brought home A+'s.

"Whew! Good job, Anastasia."
Finally, Arthur became a teen as well. I rolled Popularity.

"What's life without a friend or 30 to take to arms and help you out? Now I just need a round table..."

As I said, I always love second bloodline because of the adopted children! Thy are all so good looking... well except for Louhi, the poor thing. How many kids are you adopting this gen? 5 0r 6, because with cheesecake, the 10 kids want has never been so easy.

I'm going for five, which leaves things uneven but I figure two sets of twins and then a single birth would be ok. I've always adopted five and I kinda don't want to mess that up, even though with cheescake it would be easier if I settled on an even number!
