Branwen Windling Deals with More Aliens
So, with Vidya newly abducted now I was just working on having Verdandi and Vidya earn those last few scholarships to get out of the house. This included having Verdandi continue to attempt to get abducted as well, to no avail. All she managed to do was freeze her bum off doing it, which ended up turning her skin a very interesting color.
"S-s-so cold."
In combination with that, Verdandi was really just miserable all around, I had Branwen interact with her to fulfill some wants, including sending them out to play catch. Which they chose to do (on a 5x5 lot, mind) in the street, in front of a waiting school bus.
"Oh, don't worry about that, they won't run us over! This game it only rated T for Teen!"
Once they got back from school Verdandi continued to attempt to up her aspiration while her sister Vidya continued working on scholarships.
"Come on Verdandi! Dance with me!"
Meanwhile the other set of twins were getting along much more nicely. Mercury was their primary caregiver and it wasn't long before both of them were walking and talking and going potty all on their own.
"Here's your bottle Vijaya. way to go, Vikrama! You're a big boy now, huh?"
And, soon enough they were, Vijaya and Vikrama had another birthday and were children.
"Now we get to eat..."
"...something that's not toddler mush."
Not long after that Vidya earned the last of her scholarships, so I had her invite over Valene, they became best friends and then I had Mercury influence Valene to bite Vidya to pass on her vampirism.
"Come closer young one."
"Now bleh with me, bleh!"
For a brief moment after that there was one of each of the three sets of twins: Valene, Vidya and Vijaya all in the same room.
"You're next."
Verdandi had gotten her aspiration up and had finished with her scholarships as well so I had Vidya pass the bite on.
"Come join the circle..."
"...it's blehirific."
With a point and a point and a half in scholarships earned respectively, I sent Verdandi and Vidya off to college.
"What we're looking for is a dorm with tinted windows..."
"...and hot guys!"
As soon as Vidya hung up the phone she turned around and attempted to scare Vijaya with her vampireness. All she got was mild amusement.
"Bleh!" "What big teeth you have, sis!"
The next day was a Saturday!
First Bloodline, Sixth Generation: from left to right are Vikrama, Orion, Mercury, Branwen and Vijaya.
After the portrait was taken I shooed them all downstairs so that Vijaya and Vikrama could work on their scholarships.
"But, I don't wanna work on scholarships! Don't you ever just let kids play?"
Nope, once the weekend was over it was off to school for the twins. And, they each brought home an A+ report card. Unfortunately the ones they ran to cheer at were still fast asleep.
"We're getting too old for this."
So they were left with telling each other the good news.
"I got an A+ in school, Vikrama!" "I know, sis, me too."
Points Earned: Verdandi and Vidya earned two and a half points in scholarships.

I love the last picture, LOL. Poor Branwen and Orion. Why are they sleeping in the middle of the day? I really like the vampire as teens thing, I might have to "borrow" that idea. :)

With elders all I worry about is synching their schedules to each other. As long as they eat and sleep at the same times I can keep their social up fairly effortlessly. So, needless to say, due to elders insomnia and the fact that I do crazy things to keep them on the same tick, their schedule is no where near normal and rarely jells with that of the rest of the household!
