Last Day of Summer at Windling Gables
Windling Gables was just starting to empty out a bit and now I had another pregnant male to deal with. Oh well! Currently living in the house was... well, see for yourself, it's Saturday!

First bloodline, sixth generation: from left to right are Valora, Alvin, Orion, Branwen, Mercury and Valene.
With the house empty enough to accommodate twins I had Alvin munch down on a slice of cheesecake.

"Time to indulge this craving!"
While waiting for the pregnancy to progress the twins Valene and Valora became teens and I rolled Knowledge for them both.

"We want to learn everything..."

"...about everything!"
And, I had them start by playing identical games of pool to work on earning that billiards scholarship.

"Aw, shoot!"
Alvin was soon well into his pregnancy but I ended up keeping up his work on maxing his skills since it was a good way to keep his aspiration up and I didn't mind keeping a weather eye on his needs.

"No rest for the wicked."
Time passed and soon Orion was an elder as well and lost his red tresses for grey ones.

"I can still yack though!"
I got my first seriously bad lightning storm and one of my trees was stuck by lightning and caught fire.

"Burn baby burn."
So I placed a lightning rod on the lot to help draw the lightning away from all of Windling Gables' trees. It only seemed to work 3/4 of the time.

"You missed..."
Alvin was one tough cookie. He managed to max his skills while pregnant.

"All the mysteries of life are now revealed."
And, when I sent him out front to fetch the mail he stopped on the front sidewalk, immediately gave birth to twin girls then got dressed and left for work right after, leaving his daughters lying on the sidewalk. I named them Verdandi and Vidya. Their main difference being Verdandi had pointed ears while Vidya had rounded ones.

"Sorry girls, Daddy wants to become a Chief of Staff."
Summer came around and I had two parties to celebrate to mirror the two parties in winter. Windling Family BBQ took place in the middle of summer while the Last Day of Summer party took place at the end. Later I rearranged things a bit having Last Day of Summer stull in summer but having the BBQ moved to the last day of fall. Both of these celebrations were still mostly the same though I have plans to make them a bit different later, we'll see. Either way, Mercury made an excellent DJ.

"Boogie down to this people!"
To finish the night off I had the members of the household grab some sparklers and set off a few fireworks for fun.

Once the BBQ was over I let the twins Verdandi and Vidya grow up in to toddlers. I also moved out Alvin. It was cruel, I know, but Branwen and Orion will take good care of the twins and I needed the space to keep things moving.

"I can has daddy, peas?"

"Invisible potty. Ah..."

"We're in your nursery, being night lights."
This picture was to remind me what the loading screen looked like at this time. With Alvin out of the house and Vishnu newly moved in the twins (before they were toddlers) were both being held by Vishnu. As their closest next of kin the game figured it was all on him to take care of his new half sisters.

"I fill in now and then."
And, now, it's Saturday again!

First bloodline, sixth generation: from left to right in the back are Mercury and Vishnu, in front of them are Orion and Branwen, in front of them are Valene and Valora and in the very front are toddlers Vidya and Verdandi.
Somewhere between the Windling Family BBQ and the Last Day of Summer my bon fires got borked. They glow from the inside and won't burn when lit and even after you delete them the area glows unless you use a stuck object remover to fix it. That didn't slow down the rest of the party though.

"Shoes. Shoes should be worn on the feet. Agree or disagree?"
For this particular party I allowed Orion to draw up the guest list because I had already maxed the relationship of the immediate family to within an inch of its life and so it was time to start working on more distant relations like Marylena, Jess, and Laura.

"I'd say agree... as long as it wasn't green stilettos."
One of the closer relations did slip in though, Chloe, who for some reason was a friend of Orion's but was not a friend of Branwen's.

"So what started the whole stiletto thing?" "Well..."
The party, of course, ended up being a roof raising success.

"you can dance if you want to..."
Points Earned: Two points for alien births (Verdandi and Vidya). One point for Alvin maxing his skills.

I love the names Verdandi and Vidya, though I have never heard them before! Who did start the green stilleto thing? The twins are both pretty, both sets. I can just imagine Valene and Valora speaking in unison and being creepy with their alien eyes- "we want to know everything..." LOL!

Okay, that part with the "we want to know everything..." was really freaky. Especially coming from a twin alien...spooked me out! LOL at the trees, but something worse happened to me. It was raining right, and then the tree got stuck by lightning, and THEN IT STOPPED RAINING. So the tree kept on burning! Everyone freaked out and I had to call a fire man to put out the tree. The tree burnt down to shreads but :( I love the other set of twins! So cute! There are SO MANY Windlings...I am losing track...ah ya!

Josh - The green stiletto thing was from a conversation that Orion was so wrapped up in that he didn't deem Chloe's mother Amalthea worthy of stopping to show some respect. A very awkward moment for poor, Valene I'm afraid, Chloe asking that question! Yes, Valene and Valora are very cute but at the same time I've always found them a little creep. Verdandi and Vidya, not as much, must be the hair. You can't be too scared of someone with a bow in their hair, can you?
Melanie - I've always been so glad that rain has put out all my fires. I'd probably panic if the rain proceeded to stop! I know, I can't keep track of them anymore either. There's 500+ in the neighborhood 200+ are Windlings. I need to get a tribalpages account or something, this is nuts!
