Branwen Windling Gets Married
Now is where things get interesting. Around the time when the children of this generation became teens I installed all of the Expansion Packs and Stuff Packs through Celebration. I ended up changing my game play hugely to accomodate this. I am still playing by university legacy rules and am not really taking into account the classic rules for other expansion packs. I'm making plenty now, I don't need MORE ways to earn points. So I start throwing regular parties (ending up being one a season but that's not how I started). Every birth after this will be twins. And, you'll be seeing a whole lot of downtown as every new pledge to the Greek House gets to choose a downtown destination and the whole Greek House goes on a scored outing there. Like I said, I livened up the game play considerably and now my legacy is fun again!
So, with Amalthea and Jessie still in the house there was barely enough room to squeeze sixth generation in. Especially since their three youngest, Chloe, Cael, and Cupid were still at home. Branwen moved in anyway, and the morning after Cassandra went off to college, moved in her husband to be, Orion.

"Aren't we moving a little fast?"
I was almost worried that I was. Especially when, while under the wedding arch, Branwen decided to swoon, over her distant cousin Chuku.

"What a hunk of a man." "Um, honey?"
The wedding proceeded fairly well after that little misstep. Branwen nicely fed her husband some cake.

"Would you ike a slice, my love?"
The party ended up being a rip roaring success.

"Thanks for coming, twin brother mine."
With the happy wedding over and done with it was time for the happy wedding night. Which was successful. Sixth generation was on its way!

"Woohoo!"
When the boys Cael and Cupid got home from school I had them take advantage of the wedding cake for an after school snack.

"Mmm, yum!"
I then set everyone to work, cleaning up from the wedding, finishing up homework, etc. Unfortunately I think I pushed people too hard. Both Branwen and Cupid ended up passed out cold in the bathroom after relieving themselves.

"Zzzz..."
But, I did get some things done that night. For example, I managed to get Chloe her last few scholarships and got her sent off to college.

"Since I'm clearly not wanted here anymore."
Not long after that Cupid himself became a teen and was ready to earn a few more scholarships of his own. I rolled Romance, I'm not kidding!

"Just gotta love and be loved..."
Cael soon followed him into teenhood. I rolled Fortune.

"It's all about the benjamins."
The next night I ended up having some problems in the kitchen. I had Amalthea on the phone with one of her kids off at college and I had Jessie trying to cook himself dinner. Amalthea was too close to the stove and so he couldn't use it, she refused to move as well.

"Will you just move a bit, just a bit for me, babe?"
The food ended up glitching and disappearing from his hand. Finally Amalthea started to move so I directed Jessie to the only fridge in the house that still had food in it. Only to find that was where Amalthea had decided to stop and was blocking the way for Jessie to get any food, still yacking away. I ended up having her hang up and just upped her social another way as it was now past midnight.

"You're really starting to annoy me now, babe."
Another Saturday rolls around!

First bloodline, sixth generation: from left to right are Mercury, Cupid, Branwen, Orion, Cael, Jessie and Amalthea.
Later the day Branwen finally went into labor.

"Aaaaargh!"
And, gave birth to a lovely baby boy that I named Dylan.

"I just need a spare now."
I took this picture to prove that it is possible to have my Sims work together in the kitchen. Sometimes.

"This is the way we stir the chili...."
It wasn't long before Dylan was a toddler.

"Oh, Hai guys!"
Cael managed to earn all of his scholarships first, so I sent him off to college.

"Gotta earn more money somehow."
With Cael out of the house I had Branwen and Orion get started on baby number two.

"The last one, I promise."
The last of Amalthea and Jessie's brood came home an overachiever. It wouldn't be long before Cupid would join all of his brothers and sisters off at college.

"About time!"
Points Earned: One for new NPC-type in bloodline: Hired Bartender (Orion). Chloe and Cael earned a point in scholarships.

Cool! I have the expansion packs up to OFB (not so powerful laptop, sigh). The downtown adventures sound cool. Cupid looks a lot like his uncle Aeneas. I am so sorry about Dylan, it looks like bad genes just appeared! (I saw the pop-up). I also have twins every birth, it saves so much time, and since my Servo can prepare Cheesecake, it's a snap.

Hey! I have been reading your legacy and just caught up now! Its awesome! I have all the expansion packs released at the moment, but I have only recently started playing because Seasons stuffed up all my sims! One of my guys names changed into Virginia Simpson o.o
By the way, what does Josh mean by bad genes? Have I missed something here? Dylan looks so gorgeous! ^^

Ack! Sorry to double post! I just re-read Josh's post 50 times, and then I realised that he looked at the pop up of Dylan. =P My bad!

Yeah, Dylan and his brother both have very large noses. But, I have a wife all picked out for them and I have high hopes for the kids no matter which brother she marries.
Is it just me or do pictures of toddlers just lend themselves to lolcat captions?
Personally I think Dylan looks gorgeous too, nose or not. He's very much my kind of man. LOL

Man, If Cupid DIDN'T roll romance, I would sue.
Anyway, great post!
