Amalthea Windling Has Ten Children
Amalthea and Jessie Windling now had eight children. Almost there! Gertrude, Gomez, Chuku, Dinah and Karna were all off at college. Meanwhile Cerebrus was only just out of the nursery and his younger sisters, Cassandra and Chloe were still in it. Here Chloe is finally a toddler herself, able to get into much more trouble now that she can crawl all over the place.
"A'hoy there!"
Cassandra and Chloe were briefly toddlers at the same time while I got Cassandra's aspiration up.
"I can has walking lesson?"
Which, of course, allowed her to grow up in Platinum.
"Nighty-night."
Cassandra wasn't the only one being tucked in.
"'Night Mommy."
Amalthea and Jessie kept right on with the baby making. They had another son named Cupid.
"Just one more to go."
But, before the last kid was born, it was Saturday. I had Chloe toddle down the hall to the portrait room on her own, with Mercury's limp it allowed him to keep pace.
"I can has picture time?"
I ended up using a hack to get these poses. I really ended up not liking it as it required an extreme angle and was hard to get people to look at the camera. Not to mention hard to list off who is in the picture because of the funky arrangement. I go back to the old fashioned way... eventually.
Second bloodline, fifth generation: from left to right across the back are Mercury, Cerebrus, Amalthea, Jessie and Cassandra, in front is toddler Chloe and baby Cupid.
Jessie went ahead of Amalthea and became an elder. Normally I keep the Heir and Spouse even but this time I just didn't bother. I wanted to move on with this legacy!
"All I need is a phone to call my kids and a toilet."
Time passed and Chloe became an adorable child, who simply loved blowing bubbles. As all Windling children seem to.
"Not much else fun to do here!"
Cupid became a toddler.
"I can has bow and arrow?"
And, finally, Amalthea gave birth to her tenth child, another little boy that I named Cael.
"All done!"
Not long after that the oldest of the born brood, Cerebrus, became a teen. I rolled Family.
"Which puts me up for heirship."
Cassandra soon followed him into teenhood. I rolled Romance. Ick.
"Guess I'll have to wait for college to see if I change my mind."
And, Amalthea was finally, finally, able to become an elder.
"A very happy elder, with ten children! Now when am I getting grandchildren?"
Not much was really happening at Windling Gables. I think this is proof that I was getting used to chaos because I honestly didn't think much of the babies and toddlers and kids and teens running around. Cerebrus soon had his half point in scholarships and I sent him off to college.
"See you guys later!"
Off at college I pledged in Gomez.
"Wow, this place is just as busy as home!"
Then I decided that Windling Gables (currently housing Mercury, Amalthea, Jessie, Cassandra, Chloe, Cupid and Cael the younger four of which would be moving out in a matter of a week or so) was big enough for me to send first bloodline's fifth generation heir home to start sixth generation. They only needed to have two kids and so it wasn't as vital that they start having kids right away. Plus, the sooner they died, the sooner I could get started on second bloodline's sixth generation. So I threw Branwen a huge graduation party and had her invite over all of her friends, including Amalthea.
"Thanks so much for coming."
Also invited to the party was Branwen's hubby to be, Orion.
"Won't it be so great when we settle down and have kids?" "Well, we'll settle down, but I think the kids are going to have to wait, Housing Authority you know."
Of course, the party ended up in the room with the TV. Silly university students.
"Hey! Look at the time! ER is on!"
Branwen graduated with a 4.0 GPA, 15+ friends and having earned more than §20,000.
Meanwhile, back at Windling Gables, Chloe became a teen and I rolled Fortune.
"But, my goodness, what do we need more money for?"
Cupid soon grew up as well, into a child.
"Check out the new 'do."
Cael soon followed him into childhood. I have no pictures of him as a toddler but you aren't missing much, he and Cupid looked pretty much the same in that stage.
"Look at the pretty horsey Mommy painted for you!" "Wait a second, Mom, I want to get the refraction of the light through these clouds just right."
While waiting for the kids at Windling Gables to get their scholarships and get out, Branwen worked at completing her LTW.
"And, now, I know everything about everything."
That was over with quickly, so she spent the rest of her time painting while she bided her time.
"One day my prince will come..."
Cassandra came home that night an overachiever.
"Promotions are hard to get when all you want to do is kiss and makeout with everyone you meet."
So, with the last of her scholarships under her belt, I sent her off to college.
"Maybe I'll find some boys there that wouldn't mind going for a tumble."
So ends fifth generation.
Points Earned: Branwen earned three points for having a 4.0 GPA, 15+ friends and for having earned in excess of §20,000 at graduation. Cerebrus and Cassandra earned a point in scholarships. Branwen earned a point for maxing her skills. Amalthea and Jessie earned two points for having ten children.
Points Lost: One point for College Penalty (Amalthea, Beowulf, Derek, Ivy and Branwen).

Ooo, cool, both bloodlines at the house at the same time. Awesome. Are they friends though? I know that they no longer consider themselves family (Branwen and Cerebrus could, conceivably get married), but do you have Branwen become friends with all her 2nd cousins once removed? :)
