Amalthea Windling Deals with Teenagers
My heir Amalthea and her husband Jessie had adopted five adorable children: Gertrude, Gomez, Chuku, Dinah and Karna. Now they were just waiting for the kids to earn their half point, or in the case of Gertrude full point, in scholarships before kicking them out to college so they could get started on fifth generation's heirs. Mercury, of course, was a big help in getting the kids the scholarships they needed for college. Especially once they became teens and could use a thinking cap to make things go even faster. Dinah soon joined the ranks of those who could use a thinking cap. She became a teen and I rolled Fortune.
"So where's that zombie? I wanna earn more scholarships!"
Karna soon followed her into teenhood. I rolled for Fortune for him as well.
"Boogie down, big brother. Man, Romance Sims need to be more picky about their dates."
Soon after all five kids became teens Gertrude managed to earn the last of her scholarships and move on out to college.
"I didn't spend very long here at all, did I?"
Dinah was doing the best out of all her siblings when it came to earning scholarships. It helped that she brought home a friend on her first day of work allowing her to earn that dance scholarship quickly. I wish that still worked with later EPs. It was so nice to only have two Sims dance together for three hours to get the scholarship. Now they have to dance by themselves for six+ hours to get the scholarship and it's much more of a pain to do!
"So... why did you enlist?"
Another Satuday rolls around.
Second bloodline, fifth generation: from left to right are Dinah, Gomez, Jessie, Mercury, Amalthea, Chuku and Karna.
Dinah ended up being the next to head off to college, ahead of her brothers Gomez and Chuku.
"How bizarre!"
With Gertrude out of the house I had Amalthea get pregnant, and by the time Dinah followed her Amalthea was far enough along I had her head to the nursery to meditate.
"I'm sure my husband and Mercury can handle the kids just fine."
While Amalthea was meditating, Gomez came home from work an overachiever.
"Totally awesome, so that's it right?"
Yep, that's it. I sent Gomez off to college with half a point in scholarships.
"Good, 'cause I've got some catching up to do!"
That night Amalthea gave birth to her first child by blood. A son that I named Cerebrus.
"Only four more to go!"
The next day Karna, one of my last at home teens, managed to get that last promotion he needed to reach the top of his career. Of course, he ended up passed out on the sidewalk doing it, but at least he managed it!
"Zzzz..."
I had Amalthea call the Headmaster and got Karna and Chuku into private school to boost his aspiration enough to get those last few scholarships.
"Thanks so much for that."
So with those last few scholarships earned I kicked him on out to college.
"Finally."
Chuku soon followed him. Romance Sims are such a pain to keep in Platinum.
"Better late then never!"
Once his older brothers were out of the house Cerebrus was finally old enough to be a toddler. Amalthea was also already pregnant with another child.
"Invisible steering wheel."
I switched to playing college for a bit. Got all five kids merged in to a dorm to wait for their turn to be pledged into the Greek House.
"College is all about hanging out, man. Until you're pledged anyway."
At the Greek House I pledged in a townie named Alvin Futa.
"Now's my chance to finally grow up."
As well as Achilles' son Vishnu.
"I must say, there's more pizza then I was expecting."
The twins from first bloodline were still at college. Beowulf and Branwen were biding their time until all of second bloodline was off at college. That was going to take a bit yet.
"Until then it's homework and pizza." "And painting." "Lots of painting."
The first of that second bloodline brood was pledged in the very next day. What can I say, she was the first to walk by. Turns out Dinah is on the ball in all areas of life.
"Now to be the first to graduate."
Points Earned: Three points in scholarships by Gertrude, Gomez, Chuku, Dinah and Karna. One point for new NPC in bloodline, the Exterminator (Jessie).

Awesome! I love Dinah's hair and her face, she is so pretty! You really know how to pull a Sim together, even with ugly ones! :) And you are so lucky, Cerebrus turned out not that ugly after all! But I don't know if he's the heir or not...

Cerebrus and his siblings are all still alive in my game. Actually, I'm ahead of myself, one is dead but not by natural causes. And, that's all I'll give away for now. :)

You certainly have a thing for Greek and Indian mythology!
