Amalthea Windling Gets Married
Wow, it's been a while since I blogged about second bloodline, huh? Well, Owain and his wife Adriana died a long time ago leaving their ten children: Ishtar, Iago, Opal, Othello, Demetrius, Aeneas, Aeolus, Achilles, Ajax and Amalthea parent-less. Ishtar married Vidar and had several children, Demetrius married Valli and had several children. Everyone else moved out and into various apartment complexes, save for Achilles who stayed at home and ended up being abducted by aliens twice and having two children of his own. This left Amalthea all alone at college, now ready to step up and be the resident heir at Windling Gables.

"Welcome to my totally awesome graduation party!"
Not all of the children dealt well with their parents deaths. Amalthea, of course had a break down some semesters earlier that she had now recovered from. But, other children had not had a chance to be played since their parents' death and so took the graduation party as an opportunity to have a mental breakdown.

"Wow.... the floor... it's so hard...."
Amalthea had a great time. With most of her siblings and future husband in attendance she was in seventh heaven constantly spinning up wants to interact with all of them. Finally she was graduating!

"Voooo Gerbits!"
Amalthea seemed to have quite gotten over her mother's death. She even gossiped about it with a friend of hers at one point in the proceedings.

"You won't believe what happened to Mom!"
Meanwhile most of the guests had moved indoors to the TV. Where they watched sports and chatted.

"Talk about a low key party."
Nevertheless the party ended up being a rip roaring success.

"Thanks for the great time, folks! I'm outta here!"
Meanwhile back at Windling Gables... Well, no, I hadn't gotten all the EPs installed at this point. I am now blogging about what I played in December of last year. And, since Christmas was upon us in the real world, I thought I would celebrate in my game too. So I decked Windlings Gables' halls.

"Merry Christmas!"
And, here is Amalthea all grown up and ready to be the heir.

"Finally, it's my turn."
And, of course, the first thing I did was move in her fiance Jessie. Who looks a little nervous now that they are making things official.

"Just how many kids are we having again?"
He seemed to get in the spirit of things when he came across Amalthea standing under some mistletoe.

"Check it out, babe."

*Smooch*
The very next day I had them get married. All of the family and several friends were invited. The video played. And when I hit pause when it was done, it was to find Amalthea like this.

"Oh, my love... where'd you go?"
And, everyone else like this.

"Um, babe?"
She recovered smoothly enough.

"Just practicing for, you know, later."
Next it was time to cut the cake.

"Open wide, lover."
The party went into the night and became a rip roaring success.

"Just warning you, man, I know my sister and you best just watch out during those certain times of month, alright?"
And, then, it was on to the wedding night. Which wasn't successful of course, meaning that I wasn't going to have them have their by blood children just yet. Right after getting out of bed I sent them to the phone to call and adopt their first child. It was time to carry on second bloodline's tradition of having ten children, starting with five ready made ones straight from the orphanage.

"Now it's time for you to check it out, babe."
Sorry, got behind again on College Penalty points, I'm really bad about that.
Points Earned: None.
Points Lost: One point for College Penalty (Volos, Aeneas, Aeolus, Achilles, Ajax).

Yikes, poor you Bitsy, you are marrying the guy with the flat nose! Oh no... (Or oh nose, if you-re into those bad pus, lol.) I am so excited to see their kids! (I always end up liking your 2nd bloodline better because they have more variety in children.)

I enjoy the second bloodlines too for that reason. First bloodline is fun for the aliens, but second bloodline is fun because of all the different types of kids I end up with. With the custom face templates and the name hack I get nice kids with cool names, what's not to look forward to?
