Nimue Windling Has Twins
With Iago and Volos out of the house, fifth generation was free to be born at once. Nimue was already happily pregnant and taking a few days off from working on her career. Martin was working on his career, in between working on his friend base as I was going to have him get 30 Best Friends, a goal Othello was working on as well. Of course, I was also trying to get them both abducted. Mercury writes novels and cooks/cleans/repairs things, and Adriana is, depressingly, waiting to die.

Fifth Generation, First Bloodline: From left to right across the back are Adriana, Mercury and Othello, on the couch are Martin and Nimue.
The day that picture was taken Adriana did not have to wait any longer. The Reaper had come for her to take her off to join her husband Owain in the afterlife.

"About time too! I didn't want to be around when those babies came anyway, I've had enough of them!"
Not long after that Nimue gave birth. To twins! My third fraternal boy/girl birth this generation! What are the odds? I thought it was amusing that Nimue walked past her husband who had come to watch the birth in the nursery, all the way downstairs to the kitchen to hand off her first born to her second cousin Othello. The first born was a son that I named Beowulf.

"I know this isn't your daddy, but after a labor like that I'm not speaking to him right now."
The second child was a daughter that I named Branwen.

"Coochie-coochie-coo!"
I had Othello dump Beowulf there to go back to working on his friend base so, after caring for Branwen and getting her into a crib, I had Nimue come back and scoop Beowulf off the floor. He did not seem to appreciate being abandoned.

"Yuck! This baby just puked on me!"
Nimue's aspiration was starting to slip after all of that meditating through a pregnancy, and then proceeding to be puked on by her son, so I sent her out to the mausoleum for a little pick-me-up. George was happy to oblige.

"Boo!"
Mercury took over baby care duty. That's one of the main reasons I keep him around, he's a great nanny! He even puts up with bratty little boys puking on him.

"Eugh! This is so disgusting!"
It wasn't long before the twins were toddlers.

"I has a bottle."

"I can has bottle too?"

"Invisible bannister."
The house was positively quiet. Even with twin toddlers, it seemed like nothing was happening! I guess I just get so used to chaos in second bloodline, first bloodline is a breeze. That's why first bloodline has become my earn ghost points bloodline and my try and get as many abductions as possible bloodline.
The twins soon became children with out a hitch. And, seemed to grow into their noses some! Here's Branwen:

"Can't talk, gotta go!"
And, Beowulf who is pinching his nose, but trust me it's not that bad:

"That's so nasty!" "Just getting you back, kid."
Another Saturday rolled around.

Fifth Generation, First Bloodline: From left to right across the back are Mercury and Othello, across the front are Beowulf, Nimue, Martin and Branwen.
Then it was back to skill building for the kids.

"Wow, it's a chess table!" "Way to go, kid. I think we can move on to the hard stuff now."
Since things were so quiet I had Branwen move in an old professor of hers. Prof. Ophelia Born, a Knowledge Sim who I was going to try and have crushed by a satelitte.

"I beg your pardon."
Here she is all outfitted for the new place.

"Acceptable."
The best way to make friends if you know absolutely no one is to be ready and waiting by the mailbox at 10:30AM every day but Sunday. A new walk-by comes by every day at that time and if you greet them, sit on a bench and then invite them to join you can easily have a daily relationship of 100 by two or three. Granted there are no interruptions.

"These kids are so rude, can't they see I'm in the middle of a conversation?"
With Martin and Othello working on their friend bases and Ophelia working on maxing her skills there was no one for Nimue to up her social with. So I just had her blow bubbles with her kids every day when they got home from school.

"This is the exact moment when I worry that a Social Worker is going to walk in."
Well a Social Worker didn't, but that night a Headmaster did. He seemed to approve of the surroundings though and accepted the twins into private school.

"Excellent children, Mrs. Windling, and you say the bubble blowers are purely decorative, correct?"
After her first day at the new private school Branwen brought home her first A+ report card.

"Yes!"
Of course, her father was in the middle of trying to say good-bye to Hephaestus at the time.

"Kids..."

Hey, I was right, from your pop-ups I saw that Beowulf looked exactly like his dad, and they lost the brown hair! Martin and Ophelia share the same face template! And poor Branwen, with that name. (What do you call her for short? Brannie? Wen? Ouch.)

Great update. I just started my first Legacy so it's sorta like a practice one for me.
Yours is great and the twins are really amusing! :) Looking forward to the next chapter.

I actually just called them Beo (pronounced Beau) and Bran, as horrible as they both sound! And, you know, I hadn't even noticed that they had the same face template until I started putting together this entry. Shows how observant I am!
Thanks for the comments, both of you. :)
