Nimue Windling Gets Married
Now it's time to switch back to the first bloodline! To refresh your memory my founder Zeus Windling had two daughters that founded each bloodline. Venus founded the second bloodline and her son Owain is the third generation heir that just passed away whose daughter Amalthea, the fourth generation heir, is off at college. Meanwhile Venus' sister Minerva founded the first bloodline, and her daughter Elissa was the third generation heir, Elissa's daughter Nimue is the fourth generation heir and is the heir whose story we will be following now.
To get an idea of who all is in the house now we have Mercury, of course he never leaves, Adriana who is counting days, her sons Othello who is working on making 30 best friends by day and trying to be abducted by night and Iago who is just trying to be abducted and Iago's husband Volos who is trying to earn §100,000. And now, of course, Nimue has joined them and is getting ready to start fifth generation.
Volos has just reached the top of the Natural Scientist career. Though later I found out that Show Business pays more per week this used to be the big money making career track I would get them into. That and all they needed was a shower and they were good once they got home, which is nice!
"Hey, as long as I'm getting money, it's all good."
Nimue's first order of business was to max her skills. Which she did in no time with Mercury's help.
"Great. Can I go back on the computer now?"
Her next order of business was to call over her hubby to be, Martin, to move him in.
*Smooch!*
And, here he is, all bedecked out in green.
"Things move so fast around here."
Finally, Volos managed to earn §100,000.
"Aw, man, does that mean I gotta...?"
Yep, time to go. And, take your husband Iago with you.
"No qualms there."
Then I changed Nimue into a more green outfit, since her other one was kind of blueish. Fifth generation is blue generation after all, in case you haven't already noticed.
"So picky."
Now it was time for Nimue and Martin to get married!
"Othello, hun, could you please change into a suit? You're sticking out like a sore thumb."
Once again most of the wedding guests congregated in the billiards room, and since fourth generation was the green generation they blended in quite nicely.
"Shouldn't we be getting ready to watch a wedding just now?"
Sure enough the bride and groom were ready and waiting out in the Cow Plant garden.
"So how long do we have to stand here smiling like this? Where is everyone?"
Most of them ended up making it. Sort of. Eventually.
"Well, that was over with pretty quick."
There were still quite a few that couldn't handle finding a seat. Nereus, of course, was one of them. I'm surprised he didn't just turn up for the booze like last time.
"Aw, did I miss the ceremony? Shucks. Ah well, where's the grub?"
Once more the bride and groom end up sitting with the matriarch of the previous generation. Ishtar bravely joins them.
"So, uh, how about these Cow Plants, uh?" "Their milk doesn't taste nearly as nice as you would think." "Huh?" "Then again Essence of Mercury is bound to be disgusting, isn't it?" "What?"
At the other table Mercury was forced to sit with Michelle, Othello and Victoria and had to put up with the laters' abysmal Windling manners.
"Windlings are so disgusting sometimes."
The party went late into the night and Nimue made the rounds rebuilding old relationships with all of her friends.
"Vooo Gerbits! How does your dress stay on when you do that?"
Since I was so unimaginative and didn't have a good set of formal dresses to choose from at the time all of the women at the wedding save for the bride wore the same dress. So I guess they were a bit like bridesmaids in that. If that happened in real life all three would be mortified. My husband assured me it was okay to dress all the men in the same tux. When a guy sees another guy wearing his tux, it just assures him that he chose to wear the right thing.
"Bride coming through!"
I rounded out the evening with Nimue building up her relationship with her brother, Nereus.
"Admit it. You didn't really want to be heir anyway."
The party turned out to be a roof raiser.
"Come on, hun! We gotta dash!"
And, they left for their honey moon.
"We better make it quick though."
Once they got back I had Nimue make a quick dash out to the mausoleum to up her aspiration. Her father Robi was more then happy to help her out.
"Boo!"
Twice.
"Got you again!"
The wedding night proceeded without a hitch and soon Nimue was pregnant with fifth generation.
"Woo-hoo!"
I also managed to earn 30 Elixer bottles at this point. And, here is my proof:
Points Earned: One point for Volos earning §100,000. One point for Nimue maxing her skills. One point for collecting 30 bottles of Elixer.

I find it so cool that only like three generations have passed, and already the two bloodlines look so amazingly different! Martin has some interesting features that are bound to resurface in his kids, and at least you got rid of the Brown hair, it kinda sticks around in legacies!
