The Ranch Redux Again
For those of you familiar with my Windling Homes you realize that I have already offered this home once before for just the basegame and university. Times have changed and since the Ranch is easily one of my favorite little Windling Homes I went back and completely remodeled the place with all of the expansion packs to date. The Ranch, once more, isn't actually a Ranch. It used to be the ranch starter that came with base, so think of this as just that home post apocolyptic wrecking ball, and looking much better for it!
The Ranch Redux Again is a two bedroom, four bathroom home with nursery that can house up to four bedrooms as is, five if you rearrange two walls in the basement if that's your thing. It's on a 3x2 space, but due to the basement and the way things are arranged it seems much roomier. There's still room for waterballoon and snowball fights on the right side of the lot, with a driveway taking up the left. The whole lot has it's own suite of robots to tend to your Sims every need. There's a clean bot in the nursery, a hydrobot to tend the flower beds, a sentry bot to guard the botmaking room, a munchie bot hovering in the corner of the dining room, and toy robots dotted about the house. There is also a special treat for you guys that was finished on the last day of summer in game, just in time to be offered with the lot, a fully built servo is sitting on one of the stations waiting for just the right Sim to activate him so he can join your family.
To tell you a bit about the family that lives there, Atlas Windling was one of the ten children that was born in fourth generation of my first legacy. Yes, he is the older brother of Ares Windling of the Villa. He moved out of the main legacy lot when he was only a toddler along with his twin sisters Asia of the BookNook and Theia of the HQ to live with his second cousin Jan of the Farmhouse. He fell in love with Benjamin Long and they got married and moved to the ranch. Mysterious experiments resulted in Benjamin becoming pregnant and giving birth to their daughter Metis. Marketing this new technology allowed them to raise money to remodel their home and make a down payment on brand spanking new bot making stations. Further experimentation resulted in Benjamin spending a brief period as a vampire, Atlas building an army of robots to cater to their every need, Benjamin being struck by lightening and Atlas defeating the grim reaper, and Benjamin being abducted by aliens and, after an incident with some cheescake, giving birth to twins named Margot and Martin.
