Owain Windling Gets Grandchildren
It's a bit difficult to piece together who must have been in the house at this point as it was at a point of upheavel getting ready for fourth generation to end and I was spending a lot of time hopping back and forth between college and the main house. As a side note this is the most wonderful part of having two bloodlines, you never play more then a semester or so at a time (or occasionally a year or so) before you switch to play the main house a bit and then back again. There is no long stretch of college that you have to deal with. By the time you are getting bored with one, it's time to play the other again.
Four are in the main house for sure: Owain, the third generation heir, his wife Adriana, their youngest child Amalthea and the family zombie, Owain's uncle, Mercury. Also, Othello, another child of Owain and Adriana, is in the house attempting to be abducted by aliens and make 30 Best Friends. So is his sister Ishtar who is attempting to earn §100,000.
Meanwhile, off at college Demetrius, yet another of Owain's brood, is about to graduate but before he does I have him pledge his brother Aeneas. The coach seems to disapprove.
"Stop that tickling! And, stop eating nothing but pizza!"
Next to move on through the Windling's main household was Valli, the daughter of Alon Livingston and the PT. She transferred some funds, set down some elixer bottles, got a new wardrobe and was out of there.
"Got this down to a science, huh?"
It wasn't long before Aeneas' pledge period was over and Demetrius invited him to move in. Just in time too, because it wasn't long before he graduated.
"Sweetness."
I had Aeneas turn around and pledge his brother Aeolus.
"So, what'cha doin', bro? You wanna party, bro? Want another drink, bro?" "Can't you see I'm trying to study?!"
Aeolus abandoned his attempts to be sociable with Aeneas and just decided to get himself another drink, straight from the tap.
*Guzzle, Guzzle*
It wasn't long before I had Demetrius through the system and ready to move out on his own.
"Great! Can you give me back my computer, now?"
I thought it was interesting that Adriana ran all the way down to the sidewalk to say goodbye to this particular son. Almost like she was trying to guilt him into something.
"And, don't forget, your father needs six grandchildren to die happy! No pressure!"
No pressure at all. I was suddenly glad I had kept up Demetrius' relationship with Valli because it wasn't long before I came to the stunning conclusion that, even though I privately thought of Valli as a Windling, she was still a Livingston...
"So, what's your sign?"
I moved them out of the apartment complex and into a place of their own and in no time at all they were engaged, married, and Valli was pregnant with their first child. I decided to take a bit of a break and let this family be autonomous and played them fast and loose. I figured I'd get three children out of this couple and then have another child of Owain's get married for the other three. I found it amusing that the first thing my autonomous Windlings did was wander out to the living room in their underwear. Demetrius flipped on some sports and Valli plunked down in a corner of the living room and started writing in her diary, not even caring that her husband was in the room.
"So, I'm a stallion, huh? No, no - keep writing!"
It was also interesting that I was just complaining to my husband that the Windling had not had any twins at all since sixth generation of their first legacy. Which means it has been seven generation since I had any twins, and I was wondering when I was going to finally get a set. Then Valli gave birth...
...to a son that I named Sabin...
"Why doesn't this fit?!"
...and a daughter I named Iris.
"I got momma's ears!"
Here they are after I finished dolling them up.
"I made round peg fit in square hole!"
I didn't take many pictures because I was really just playing for fun at this point though I did have Valli go ahead and get pregnant again for the third child. Here is Iris as a child.
"Dressed in blue."
And, here is Sabin.
"Too cool for you."
Valli's pregnancy progressed and meanwhile Demetrius brought home a friend from work, Echo, who is actually his great, great grandmother, and who was delighted to meet her great, great, great grandchildren.
"Don't you worry, I'll go straight home and make you some delightful new toys!"
The twins proceeded to do quite well in school.
"I rule!"
And, finally, Valli gave birth to another little boy that I named Lawrence.
"Wow, I'm green!"

It's from SussiSoGoodSims, which is closed. They have a recolor on MTS2, but you need the mesh, which is from the site, so, tough cheese.
