Iago Windling Gets Abducted
Owain and Adriana Windling now had five teens in the house, and everyone was either working on or helping a teen work on getting a scholarship. I was determined that every last one of them would get the half point in scholarships, except Othello who would be getting the full point due to his abduction. Ishtar was the first to earn all the skill scholarships, the billiards scholarship, the dance scholarship, the good grades scholarship and reach the top of her teen career. I sent her packing.
"Finally, I'm outta here!"
Othello was the next to come back from work at the top of a career. He was finally an overachiever.
"Oh yeah, I rule! And, I got the stars to prove it."
So he was kicked out to college next.
"Bye, Othello! Bye, kids! Bye!"
Of course, Owain was looking forward to his first set of five kids getting out of the house, it meant there was now room to work on the second set of five kids, biologically.
"I do not recall agreeing to this."
Meanwhile the remaining three teens, Opal, Iago and Demetrius were pretty much living in either the skills room or the billiards room.
"A Windling teen's work is never done."
It wasn't long before Owain and Adriana's first biological, but overall sixth, child was to be born.
"Ohhhh! Ow! Ow! Ow!"
It was a son, that I named Aeneas. Adriana was now part of the bloodline.
"Maybe having all these kids won't be so bad, this one is pretty cute!"
The night after Aeneas' birth I had another abduction. The main reason it takes so long for my teens to earn their scholarships is because they spend most of every night stargazing (7PM-4AM). It doesn't insure an abduction for a teen but it does increase the chance. I do ask that you keep in mind that, using my current stats in first bloodline's sixth generation, I have sent to college a total of 62 teenagers using this method, only 10 were abducted.
"Oh noes!"
"It's the aliens!"
Iago was returned safe and sound, and even had a positive memory from the experience.
"So tell me, what's it really like up there? We can swap stories, you tell me about the aliens and I'll tell you about Grimmy."
Another Saturday!
Fourth generation, second bloodline: From left to right are Opal, Owain, Adriana, baby Aeneas, Mercury, Demetrius and Iago.
Soon after that Iago came home from work as an over acheiver. Unfortunately he still had a few more scholarships to earn before I could kick him out.
"Alright, no more pumping gas for me!"
That night George started haunting. He was quite traumatised over his second death. First I starved him to death, then I scared him to death. How much worse could it get?
"She could make me haunt as a bright shade of neon pink!"
Soon, Aeneas was a cute little toddler.
"What? I may be a zombie but I make a wonderful nanny too!"

"Zzzz..."
Iago was really not having any luck with getting out of the house in a timely manner. He got sick, so all scholarship earning took a back seat until he got better.
*cough* *cough* *wheeze*
Demetrius was also having problems. His aspiration was consistently low and he was constantly rolling up weird wants that took a lot of time to do and gave hardly enough of a boost to be worth doing. Like sneaking out. I had him sneak out anyway in hopes that new and easy wants might spin up. They didn't.
"No one will see me if I sneak through the entrance hall."
"No one will see me if I sneak out the front door!"
"Now that I've made it out no one will see me if I sneak up the front path to get back in! Oh. Hi, Opal."
Good thing Opal was a girl on a mission. Unlike her brothers she had no problems earning the scholarships she needed and getting the heck out of there.
"College, here I come!"
Points Earned: Two points in scholarships by Ishtar, Othello and Opal. One point for new NPC type in bloodline, Grocery Clerk (Adriana).

I like Opal, she's pretty. How come all your adopted kids look so good, while mine look hideous?! Just kidding. Hey, over at my blog I posted my own score if you want to check it out. ^-^
