George McCarthy Dies by Fright

Filed under University Legacy Challenge > 4th Generation on June 02, 2007

When last we left the Windlings my heir Elissa and her husband Robi had finally left for that great luau in the sky. All that was left at Windling Gables was Mercury the family zombie, and two friends of the family, George and his son Vidar and Alon, now pregnant with his second alien child, and his son Volos. Volos was still pretty upset about there being no soccer balls available, but he was getting over it.

University Legacy Challenge

"A rabbit head makes a good substitute."

Soon he was a child and didn't even have a rabbit head around to entertain him.

University Legacy Challenge

"Not that I have time for that kinda stuff anymore anyway."

Vidar and Volos were very sweet half brothers, here they are blowing bubbles after school.

University Legacy Challenge

"Maybe having a bunch of siblings isn't so bad afterall."

Until the next baby was born, anyway. Alon gave birth to a baby girl, Valli. She is my tenth alien in the Windling family but only the seventh in this particular legacy. She is also the last alien of fourth generation.

University Legacy Challenge

"Oh no! Not another one!"

And, it's Saturday again!

University Legacy Challenge

Fourth Generation, First Bloodline: Across the back from left to right are Mercury, Alon holding baby Valli and George. Front row from left to right are Volos and Vidar.

A split second after that photo was taken with everyone getting back to work!

University Legacy Challenge

"This is the closest thing to a break we're ever going to get, isn't it?"

Not long after that Vidar was finally a teenager. I rolled Knowledge.

University Legacy Challenge

"So, it's back to the skills room, right?"

Valli, meanwhile, had become an adorable toddler.

University Legacy Challenge

"Yay, it's time to play! Now where are the soccer balls?"

Vidar was not being a very good Knowledge Sim. Instead of rolling up wants to earn skill points he kept rolling up wants to be friends with everyone he's ever met. I took him to a community lot to get a cell phone to try and up his aspiration and while he was there had him chat up one of the people he wanted to be friends with, Selene. For those of you who might not remember, Selene is the daughter of Asia and Marylena and lives at the Book Nook, she is famous for having entered the Little Miss Sim competition. In the background you can see Semele daughter of Ares and Marisa.

University Legacy Challenge

"So do you think Bitsy will ever get around to finishing that movie you and your brothers are in? No? Me neither."

Meanwhile, back at Windling Gables, things aren't going too smoothly for Valli. I was kinda sick of taking care of kids in the nursery and so kept forgetting about her.

University Legacy Challenge

"Do Not Want!"

Here's Vidar once again proving what a lousy Knowledge Sim he is by really, really wanting to become friends with a friend he brought home from work. At least I got a dance scholarship out of it.

University Legacy Challenge

"At least I have clothes here to change into. Too bad for you, huh?"

Finally, the last alien baby got out of the nursery. Here's Valli racing to bathroom and bed as soon as she's self sufficent enough to do it on her own.

University Legacy Challenge

"Like it takes all that much longer to put me in my crib!"

Soon Volos also grew up, into a teenager. I rolled Fortune for him.

University Legacy Challenge

"That means college first before I start making serious money. What a let down."

I felt that in order to earn maximum amount of points I should just let Alon and George stargaze until they were too old to conceive. At the same time I was bored out of my skull of caring for alien babies. So I compromised with myself. Instead I decided to kill George and Alon and earn ghost color points instead. I'm such a heartless legacy player. I waited until George had earned §100,000 for the point, then set about earning a point of a different color.

University Legacy Challenge

"The pain, the agony!"

George was the first I killed off, actually I ended up killing him twice, this is the first time he died. But, I got much better photos from it so this is what you get to see. I had George follow around the ghosts of Windling Gables and eventually get scared to death. The first time he simply was scared by a ghost and then starved to death. I was not a happy camper. I rezzed him and after several hours of work managed to kill him again through ghost scares. He came back the proper color the second time.

University Legacy Challenge

"Going, going..."

University Legacy Challenge

"...gone."

Valli was the first to stumble upon George's corpse.

University Legacy Challenge

"*sob*"

Soon followed by Volos and Alon.

University Legacy Challenge

"Whoa, why did George die?"

Vidar was the last to find his father dead in the dining room.

University Legacy Challenge

"Oh the humanity! Well, half humanity."

Too bad Alon's kids couldn't suspect what was about to happen next.

University Legacy Challenge

"At least it wasn't our dad, er-mom."

Points Earned: One point for alien birth (Valli). One point for George earning §100,000. One point for new Ghost color Pink (George).

Ouch. You aen't heartless Bitsy. How many Sims have you killed, like three? That's fine. Once you're past 10, you should be worried. ^-^
