Vulcan Fielding & Ptah Windling Get Abducted
Remus was pledged into the Windling Greek House, Fruhm Urele Nagard. After letting him grab something to eat and get some sleep I had him shower to get ready for his first full day of college. Unfortunately the only showers available at the greek house are public showers that are truly... public. Poor Evander.

"Public Showers: Maybe pleasant for you, always uncomfortable for others."
Later that day Remus sat down with his brother Anubis for some lunch, and to talk about his cousin Evander.

"And, just like that, he was passed out stone cold on the floor! You don't think it was something I did, do you?"
Evander graduated not long after that and moved back into the main house, just in time to witness the abduction of his long time friend Vulcan.

"Does the weirdness never end?"
Vulcan was returned safe and sound, except for one thing. The rules state that the only way you can earn the alien baby point is if a man is abducted by aliens and gives birth on the lot. This point does not count if an alien marries and has children, unless he himself is abducted and made pregnant with an alien baby. Even though logic stated otherwise I simply assumed that Pinstar knew what he was talking about and so let Vulcan star gaze every night just like I do every eligible man on the lot. Of course, when he was abducted and returned I heard no baby music. Why? Because it is impossible for a first (and probably second) generation alien to be impregnated by the pollination technician because that would be incest. I've heard with Nightlife and on the relationship between the PT and select offspring is severed so that aliens may marry each other but I'm playing with just the Base Game and Uni. Ah well...

"Whew! Looks like I dodged that bullet."
Other then that Vulcan was slipping right back into the stream of Windling life. He was just as wacky and outgoing as everyone else.

"Chick-o-watto!"
Meanwhile, Owain had gone off to college but he was not handling the transition as well. For some reason he was in a very bad mood when he walked by the Greek lot and decided to kick over the trash can.

"Take that dirty stinkin' Windlings!"
The rest of the Windlings seemed not to care, though I like to think Anubis might have brought it up at the next group meal.

"Do we really have to Pledge the little brat?"
And here, ladies and gentleman is why I love using modular stairs so much in all of my houses:

"What? Me? Have a problem with using the stairs after another person? Since when?"
Before Owain joined the Greek House Olivia was pledged. She looks more and more like my childhood friend every day. It's creepy, I tell you!

"It's a sign that you've been playing too much, you know."
While they turn and face each other when eating from plates, they don't when eating pizza. It's kinda funny to watch a Sim earnestly gestulate in conversation to nothing.

"Talking with you is like talking to a wall sometimes!"
Not long after that Lorina and then Ourania graduated from college. Ourania had problems leaving though. First off the move out controller was jammed on the lot and none of the available hacks and hacked objects was fixing it. This meant I had to go to a community lot and use a cell phone to make the call to move out from there in order for it to work. After that I had to move them into a dorm as an adult and have them make the call to move out again in order to actually be able to move out and back to the main neighborhood. Then none of the assorted people on the community lot would get out of the street and let the taxi leave. So it sat there for half an hour beeping while the kids in front of it played hackie-sack in the road. Ugh.

"Just run them over."
I've forgotten why nightmares happen, whether it's from low aspiration or from low needs. Either way, I'm sorry Gawain! Poor thing...

"Deep breaths... the social bunny is not out to get you, it was just a dream."
Meanwhile, Lorina had moved into the main house temporarily to get me that lovely impossible want point.

"And, I lost some weight. Working out for half a year straight with no sleep or food will do that for ya!"*
* Not a Bitsy approved way to lose weight.
After she maxed her skills I kicked her out to one of my apartment complexes for unwanted spares and townies.

"Hey, Vulcan, remember my daughter Alana? You know, the one you're dating? You might want to stop staring at that girl, especially in front of me!"
After that Belarius was pledge into the Greek House F.U.N.

"What a misnomer."
While he was there the coach came by and walked right into the communal showers to start yelling at my Sims for eating too many porkchops.

"And, don't think you can lie to me about your weight, you've just bared all!"
Back at the main lot Venus was living it up with her youngest son Ptah and reliving her college years by blowing bubbles with him.

"I've forgotten how much fun this is! You do all the flipping though, my old knees can't handle it anymore."
Another ghost caught a Sim just before they were headed into the energizer and resulted in their death. Or nearly so. Poor Vulcan was scared and his best friend for life Evander just managed to beg for his life and save him. This pleased most everybody, except Gawain who always was a little slow on the uptake.

"It's okay, Daddy, you can stop crying now..."

"Evander Windling & Vulcan Fielding: Best Friends Forever *humph*"
This is pretty much how the phone situation worked at Windling Gables at the time. Venus would be on the landline talking to her children at college, while Vulcan used his cellphone to work on his 30 Best Friends. Evander would greet whomever came by at 10:30AM every morning and chat them up on the bench out front.

"Can you hear me now? Good!"
Not long after that I had another abduction.

"Oh no! Who is it? I can't look!"
It was poor little Ptah Windling. Most of the Windling household came out to laught at him when he came back, poor little guy.

"*Sniffs* As if it wasn't traumatising enough."
Chandra was the next to be moved into the Windling household. The first thing she did was grab Mercury and head straight to the skills room.

"Whoa there, slow down! Zombies can't power walk!"
After that Owain was pledged into the Greek House.

"Which means I can't put off that term paper anymore."
He was later joined by his youngest brother Ptah.

"It's really rather dull around here, isn't it?"
Points Earned: One for Lorina's impossible want to Max All Skills. One for Chandra's impossible want to Max All Skills. Owain and Ptah have earned a point and a half in scholarships. Venus and Gawain have earned two points for their impossible want to Send Ten Children to College.
Points Lost: One for College Penalty (Padma, Vulcan, Evander, Lorina, Chandra).

TWO ABDUCTIONS???? Ok...i've only had one and you post about two in a row!
How much do you play this game?
Posted by: Sara on January 17, 2007 07:55 AM
Only a little every day, or sometimes every other. :) I meant to write about my abduction strategy and about the not so random chance of things but MATY, my reference for it, is down so I guess the next time someone gets abducted I'll have to remember to include it then.
And, I just try very hard to take good notes about all of my Sims, so that way I could blog about them later. I have a notebook full of useless stats about fictional game characters. :P

LOL, I have a couple of those notebooks. :) Seriously though, the way you rack up these points is awesome!

Digital memory is something that I seem to be unable to ever have enough of. It's as if megabytes and gigabytes have become a permanent part of my day to day existence. Ever since I bought a Micro SD Card for my DS flash card, I've been constantly vigilant for high memory at low prices. I feel like I'm going insane.

Good afternoon
Could this be true-If a baseball card is $1millon for sale on ebay and if a person bids it for $1.4 million, and he does not want to buy it what would happen?
