Gemini Windling Dies by Old Age
The Windling family, now made up of mostly teenagers, was preparing for the final crunch to get the lot of the them off to college. Venus had finally reached the top of her career and was in perma-plat. Gawain's LTW meanwhile hinged on three of his children graduating from college. In the mean time he still couldn't be bothered to put on clothes most days and it seems that his wife and children were now, mostly, at peace with that.

"So... another awkward family meal, eh?"
That night after an awkward handshake Gawain successfully managed to both get his kids into Private School and keep his clothes on for the duration of the Headmaster's visit. A truly amazing feat, indeed! This proves that at least one if not two of the teens had to be Fortune or else I wouldn't have bothered.

"Nice grasp you have there."
Gemini meanwhile had finally acheived his lifetime want of Making Out with 20 Sims and here is pictured Making Out with his 30th. Not long after that he earned his 30 Lovers. It was the one time in the challenge where I planned to earn that impossible want, so I decided to also keep him around and have him die in Platinum to earn the gravestone. No more Romance Sims for me, at least not ones that I would indulge as shamelessly as I did Gemini.

"Pucker up, sweety!"
After that teens started disappearing off to college and I wasn't very good at taking pictures to mark the occasion at the time. Once room was made I had Venus make the call and adopt a fifth child, a little boy named Anubis.

"Wow, this skillbuilding stuff sure is interesting. Say, when can I have a piece of candy?"
Finally the youngest teen, Remus left for college, that meant it was time to earn my five natural births.

"See you later, Remus!"
The first child, or rather Venus and Gawain's sixth, was a baby boy that I named Orestes. And, with that I now had a Streaker in the family bloodline.

"Alright! You just keep you diaper on, okay kid?"
After that I realized Venus and Gawain were too old to have any more children so I sent them out to my back-up plan, two fully loaded cow plants.

"I'll just milk this puppy and try really hard not to think about the fact that I'm drinking my brother Mercury..."

"Hm, essence of Cornelius isn't all that bad, actually."
I had Venus and Gawain drink from the cowplants at the same time. One's head immediately just sort of collapsed in on itself and sorta flipped... I'll say this, they weren't overlapping, neither was placed with moveobjects on and I wasn't playing with testingcheatsenabled on at the time either.

"Whoa... this can't be good."

"Hey, buddy, you okay?"

"Normal vs. Abnormal"

"Whew! All better now!"
While Venus and Gawain worked on another baby I had Gemini take care of the broken trash compactor in the nursery. Unfortunately he ended up getting the shock of his life instead, though he did survive it.

"Do not want..."
Orestes meanwhile grew into a toddler. I ended up dressing him in brown and orange and not yellow for some reason. He seemed pleased all the same.

"I can wear yellow when I'm older!"
Mercury took over primary child care. A perma-plat zombie that never sleeps and was made friendly against his will is the best live in nanny you can get in my opinion.

"Orange jammies aren't quite yellow either, Bitsy is getting sloppy."
Gemini passed away in Platinum not long after that. Which means now I just need the Fortune and Popularity platinum grave stones to have a complete set.

"Time to go to the big luau in the sky! I hope I don't run into too many lovers up there."
That night the ghosts decided to welcome Anubis into the family properly. Just as he was in the midst of mourning poor Gemini's death.

"Death leads to big scary ghosts! Ahh!"
I just wanted to post this picture because normally when my Sims start to stink they pinch their nose and fan it to get the smell away. Gawain on the other hand just seems to enjoy the smell.

"Whew! Now that's what I call smelling ripe!"
Not long after that Venus gave birth to baby number two, or child number seven, however you want to look at it. I named her Ourania.

"Seven down, three to go!"
For the first time the cow plant that had eaten Cornelius was now hungry again and set out a cake to lure people in. Cornelius decided to get some revenge in and went out every night that he haunted and just taunted that poor cow plant over and over with a hunk of meat, but never fed him.

"You hungry? Huh? Are you hungry, boy? Well too bad! I guess you shouldn't have eaten me then! Hah!"
While I wasn't looking Orestes did the amazing feat of breaking out of his own crib. I kicked myself for missing it but I did get some pictures of him after he was out and moving.

"Quick, Ourania, to the get away car!"
An interesting bug that I've seen in other legacies and got for the first time in mine. A Sim just wanders off in another direction while climbing the stairs and then snaps back to the top of the stair case. Sometime after this I got rid of that bug, and my strair trafficing problems for good. I switched to modular strairs. They can stretch all the way to the bottom, multiple Sims can climb them at the same time with no fuss (up to eight, four going each way with no stomping of feet or smashing of queues to be had) and also no more wandering off in odd directions when climbing the stairs!

"Whatever you do, don't look down."
Next Orestes became a child.

"This isn't as fun as the bunny rabbit head was..."
Then little Ourania became a toddler.

"I may be dressed in yellow now but soon I'll be glowing green!"
