Gawain Windling Dies by Old Age
We've reached the very last post about third generation, finally! This is also going to be the shortest post I've ever written about a generation. With all the funds third generation had accumulated I finally put in some landscaping like I had been meaning to for two generations now. I'm quite pleased with how it all turned out over all.
"Windling Gables."
Once I hit play I had Venus go and give her hubby Gawain a little smooch, it would be their last.
"One for the road, sweetheart."
Gawain's time had finally come. Everyone seemed suitably upset, except for Evander.
"Cry when I bring my best friend back to life, will you?"
Gawain's death caused some small catastrophe's back at the Greek House. I checked in the University thread started by Pinstar and he said that aspirational failures by non-heirs at college would not count against me, which was a relief in the case of Orestes.
"Wha-what happened?"
Of course this didn't save me from the point loss from Owain dropping into full aspirational failure at his father's death.
"Uhnnn..."
Using all of the elixer bottles from Gawain's aspiration catalog allowed me to earn that point back though using the Time in a Bottle point boost.
"Nice to know my happiness could buy something."
Of course even though the Cow Plant was in a new location it was still available for taunting by Cornelius.
"Come on take the meat, you know you want it... But, you can't have it! Muhahaha!"
Next up I had Chandra move out to an apartment complex, having maxed her skills, and had Remus move in from college to start working on maxing his. Also at some point Ourania earned §100,000 and moved out but I don't seem to have any pictures of any of that.
"Thanks for the Thinking Cap by the way!"
I took this picture to remind me of a horrible bug that nearly ended my legacy at this point. I had Venus talking with her children on the phone so Vulcan resorted to using his cell phone to chat with his friends. I then saved and exited while he was talking on the cell phone. Don't EVER do this! It is a bug that has never been fixed in any patch or expansion pack. It will make it so it is nearly impossible to get into the lot without using third party hacks. I ended up using Pescado's crow bar fix to force repeated errors on it and unjam the lot. By the time I got in everyone was reset and off the phone. I saved exited and took out the hack since it isn't safe to keep in your downloads folder. But I still have the file, just in case I slip and it happens again. I then went back and in and took a picture of the culprit to remind myself to warn others to never EVER save while a Sim is using a cell phone!
"Dang, my bad..."
Points Earned: Half a point for Gawain dying in Platinum. One point for collecting 30 bottles of Elixer. One point for Remus fulfilling his impossible want to Max All Skills. One point for Ourania fulfilling her impossible want to Earn §100,000.
Points Lost: One for Owain going into full aspirational failure.
I am now a Legacy Lady.

Like I continually say, you are awesome Bitsy. Hope you don't think I'm slow, but Owain is your heir right...? No, just kidding. (He is right?)

I don't know if this question has been asked or if the answer is posted somewhere but. What are your computer specs your game pictures look amazing. I want to upgrade my processor but don't know what to get and don't really have the funds right now.
