Elissa Windling Gets Married
Fourth generation is finally here, well almost. First Elissa had to move in and get married. Before that I had Katharina move in and out to transfer funds and I had Anubis move in to stargaze. The great thing about my afore mentioned move-out bug is that I can have a Sim sit in a dorm forever once they graduate and have other people graduate in the mean time.
"As long as I get to make lovely paintings I don't care when people graduate!"
I put the crunch on once Elissa had moved in and had Vulcan make 30 Best Friends. Then I kicked him out.
"Jeez, sorry about the bug thing, no need to be so antsy to get rid of me."
Not long after that Elissa managed to earn §100,000 it was a great way to pass the time while building up her relationship with her hubby to be.
"Cha-Ching!"
Hubby to be was Robi Chavrat (or however you spell it, he became a Windling so what does it matter?) he was a mailman and a cutie.
"All it took was a cuddle and instantly we fell in love."
I moved him in and the next morning started preperations to throw a huge wedding party.
"*Gulp* Who? Me? Nervous?"
I had the two of them get all dolled up and then get under the wedding arch in my cow plant garden.
"Till death do us part. Did that Cow Plant just look at me?"
I had quite a few guests show up, funnily enough Remus and Mercury couldn't be bothered to change into their formal wear and one guest couldn't get it together long enough to get into a seat.
"Well at least we could handle a wedding, looks like your family couldn't."
I moved straight on to the reception. Elissa and Robi fed each other the cake very sweetly.
"Here you go, dear. I'll ignore the crack about my family, for now."
Unfortunately the recently married couple did not end up at the same table. Elissa ended up with a cousin and some friends.
"So, enjoying the party?"
While Robi got stuck with two in-laws.
"Help?"
There's definitely a sea of yellow at this wedding. I don't get better about it right away, but I tried to diversify the formal wear a bit more with later generations while still sticking with the signature color.
"Break!"
Venus and Elissa barely knew each other before the wedding, which I thought was kinda sad for an aunt and neice, but they were getting along pretty well towards the end. A toast or two certaintly smoothed the way.
"So, let's toast to... husbands!" "Actually I just lost mine." "Oh, err..." *awkward moment*
Later I was suprised by Chandra proposing a toast to Elissa. Sure they were friends, but they weren't that close. It was still very sweet.
"Aw, come on, who here doesn't think Elissa rocks?"
The party ended up being a roof raiser, and had the added perk of Elissa and Robi really getting to know their new house mates, which turned out to be a bonus.
"Time for the honeymoon!"
The night of Elissa and Robi's honeymoon Venus passed away. She seemed pretty pleased at the prospect.
"Hey, looking good! Where's my husband, Gawain? I bet wherever he is he's wearing nothing but a lei, am I right?"
The honeymoon was sucessful and left Elissa pregnant with fourth generation.
"I'm meditating through it though, I'm not cut out for this!"
Venus' death caused more of her boys to drop into aspirational failure, though thankfully not Owain this time.
"Blub, blub, blub."
"Look at all the pretty birdies..."
After that poor Orestes finally graduated and moved home only to move right out again to transfer funds.
"That just means you really won't care what my aspiration level is now, since you don't have to bother with me anymore."
Yeah, well it's not like I was really properly minding the Sims that I was supposed to look out for. Robi went to work in Platinum and came back with a promotion just in time to pass out on the sidewalk.
"Hidie-Ho, neighbor!"
That night Gawain began haunting, thankfully he was dressed.
*Sob*
Also Padma began haunting, and I found out why drowning ghosts were such a bother.
*Psst* "It's the puddles."
Points Earned: Half a point for Venus dying in Platinum. One point for Vulcan's impossible want to make 30 Best Friends. One point for Elissa's impossible want to Earn §100,000.
Points Lost: One for College Penalty (Ourania, Remus, Katharina, Anubis, Elissa).

The puddles are super annoying. I found that out the hard way, too. Bah! Definitely the last ghost color to get.
I still can't believe how systematic you are with all of this. It really shows in the points, but wow.

A naked ghost.....that would be SCARY.

Are th two bloodlines living at the house at the same time, or is Elissa gonna have her kid, and when the kid goes to college, have Owain come back to the house? Sorry for the run on, I'm just trying to understand Bitsy. :)
