Belarius Windling Gets Abducted
So here's this weeks family portrait, with the family as it stood at that point. But, it was about to grow quite a bit. The game seemed to know that it was the green generation and was about to accommodate me accordingly.

"Fourth Generation, First Bloodline: Nimue, Mercury, Robi, Elissa, Vesta, Remus, Nereus."
Back at Uni the fourth generation, second bloodline heir had just pledged in a slew of npcs, the paper delivery people I had missed, and all of the teenage shopkeepers of appropriate aspiration (anything but Romance, Popularity and Family at that point). One of those was Adriana Curtin the sole Family Sim I pledged and Owain's future wife. Though, at the moment, the married couple to be did not seem too thrilled about each other.

"Arranged legacy marriages suck."
Here you can see Adriana, Orion, Ptah, George McCathy and Owain settle down for some lunch. Just about the only time I get (nearly) all of these college kids together. Because the schedule at Uni is so weird I don't bother with weekly portraits here. Not sure if I should or not since it would be tricky to keep track of a week.

"Wow, you guys just party hardy here, huh?"
Alon Livingston was the paper boy I had missed, he was a Knowledge Sim so I made sure to pledge him.

"Yellow is such a... blinding... color."
Gawain's replacement, an npc named Prometheus, came streaking by about them. He headed straight for Adriana and seemed to appreciate the attention she gave him.

"Oh... my..."
The other shopkeeper that was pledged was Michelle Kearny. Owain seemed to get along much better with her then he did Adriana. The aspiration was what mattered most in the end though.

"May the best girl win."
After that Olivia and then Belarius graduated. At another community lot, of course, stupid glitch.

"Hey a change in scenery for once. And... now I have to go."
While I had Owain (who had been selected escort) and Adriana both at the community lot I had him pull some moves on her. She responded well and the two fell in love. After semesters of indifference this looked to be an improvement.

*Smooch*
Olivia moved back home where she proceeded to max her skills and move out. Belarius also moved back home to max his skills and be alien bait. Remus had gotten to old to get pregnant and so I kicked him out.

"Bye! Sorry about the not-getting-abducted thing."
It wasn't right away, but some time later the pollination technician took me up on my alien bait.

"Oh the inhumanity!"
Belarius came back pregnant. For once people seemed glad to see him, I guess they didn't know him well enough to laugh at him like Windlings normally do. Except for Robi of course, he was pretty freaked out by the whole thing.

"Oh no, oh no, what if I'm next? Again?"
Everything else continued as normal at Windling Gables. This meant Vesta worked on her skill based scholarships.

"Oof!"
While Nereus and Nimue worked on their non skill based ones.

"Wow there were a lot of strange lights and stuff going on your place last night, what was going on?" "Um..."
I also found out that one bug from my old legacy was still around. If you cancel the Make Candies interaction at just the right, or rather wrong, moment the machine is left on and running until someone comes and goes through the motions of turning it on to turn it off again.

"Pop, pop, fizz, fizz."
Belarius had started to show, but instead of having him meditate I had him spend his time getting to know Robi who was still working on his friend base.

"So... any advice?"
Nereus had started dating the lovely Shanna from Windling Market which boosted his aspiration somewhat. Meanwhile the only reason Nimue was ever on the phone was to apply for another scholarship.

"Hello? Admissions? Yes, I- Really? Why, yes, I do have enough skill to earn the Billiards Scholarship, how ever did you know?"
Vesta was also moving up in the academic arena. She certainly seemed pleased with herself, even if no one else seemed to care.

"Oh yeah!"
She also brought home whichever of the twins was sick with food poisoning. It's their own fault for going dumpster diving into the original Windling Gables trashcan. Though I'm kinda worried for their health. They've spent an awful lot of time sick on my lots.

"I shouldn't have eaten out of that trashcan."
Now, at this point in the game I became incredibly vain. I decided I did not want any more ugly aliens. So I followed a tutorial and created a .package file that overwrites the Pollination Technician's genes using the face template with the pointy ears and the snub nose. Now all my little alien babies will be cute, erm, provided that their other father is as well. And, here she is, the adorably sweet Victoria. (Victory over the PT's genes that is.)

"You are such a cutie, yes you are!"
After Victoria's birth I kicked Nereus out of the house and on to college.

"This pizza... we're not going to be eating it all the time, are we?"
No, not yet. They do eat a lot of it though. I found out that when they fetch one from campus the pizza appears floating in mid air for a split second before the box and the Sim carrying it materialize. It's a bizarre sight.

The Mysterious Floating Pizza
Points Earned: One point for Olivia maxing her skills. One point for Belarius maxing his skills. One point for alien birth (Victoria). Nereus and Nimue earned a point and a half in scholarships.
I am now a Magnificent Matriarch.

Bitsy, your ability to accumulate points in this challenge will never cease to amaze! I use the Maxis attempt at Vulcans for my aliens, too. That nose is quite all-encompassing when it comes to genetics... it doesn't go away! And hooray for floating pizza. I wonder if their voice changes after they eat it?

Wow, you are so lucky to have two alien births so close together. My Sims never get abducted, but maybe it's because I don't try very hard.

OH I think I will need to know where you got that tutorial for changing the Alien baby genes from :) If you don't mind that is.
