Minerva Windling's Son Gets Abducted
With all of the third generation, first bloodline children finally out of the nursery I had to find more creative ways to keep their needs up. Who am I kidding? The bubble blower is pretty essential in my legacy house, especially with children and elders. Here Evander and Elissa blow bubbles together with their friend from school Hades, who really seems to like this generation as he came home once with each of the three kids throughout their childhood.
Of course the bubble blower was a means to an end, once the fun was up and I had them eat a late lunch/early dinner they would be off to bed.
When they woke up again aroud one or two in the morning it was time to hit the books.
My Sims live a near military lifestyle really. All whilst striving for those elusive legacy points. Their bathrooms are made up of walled in shower stalls for privacy and public toilets. The only irritating thing about the set up is when one breaks, or when someone uses something that is broken, every other Sim will come over and lecture the poor sod. Here Atlas is lectured by Gaston and Cornelius is lined up ready to lay into him next. Jeez, give the guy a break!
On top of stargazing and painting in their spare time, Atlas and Gaston also had jobs in the Ecological Guru career. It brought in a nice bonus once a week of 30k, though I would have made more money if I had them in the Show Business career, I hadn't realized that at the time.
The next day Vulcan brought home Apollo's son Hyperion.
While Evander and Elissa brought home Epimetheus' twins Artemis and Themis. For those of you that don't know, the twins are the last in the Windling bloodline to still have my founder (my classic legacy founder) Gaia's silver eyes.
It's all still the same family, strictly speaking Evander and Elissa are actually the twelth generation, not the third. I just started the count over when I had my tenth generation classic legacy heir Zeus found my university legacy challenge. Though with the new legacy rules out, I'm not sure if I'm going to have tenth generation heir found my nightlife legacy family, or install nightlife, open for business and pets and just start a legacy with the new rules instead.
Anyway! Here's a close-up of the (not identical) twins. Artemis.

The only annoying thing about bubble blowers is, if I ask the kids to join then they will continue blowing and ignore their parents for hours. Sometimes not leaving until closer to midnight. Sometimes the parents give up and go play pool until 2am and the kids leave whenever their needs deplete to the point of death/wetting themselves.
In this case, a birthday got everyone off of the bubble blowers and out to the entrance hall to watch Evander and Vulcan become teens.
Vulcan turned out pretty intense.
While Evander ended up growing into his nose a little more, it's still pretty spread out though.
With the boys out front stargazing with the men, the ghosts had no one left to scare but Minerva, of course...
... and little Elissa.
Wow the last person to use this was Great Great Aunt Kimberly! Yeah, I don't think so. I don't think Kimberly has ever been to this lot.
The twins had so much fun bogarting my bubble blower and making a mess out of my birthday cakes that they decided to visit again! Actually Evander and Vulcan are both Popularity Sims and they had wants to become friends with their childhood buddies.
That night the Windlings had a lot more to worry about then ghosts. Evander was abducted by aliens.
Everyone celebrated his safe return. Except for his parents, who just laughed at him.
Points Earned: Evander earned 1 point in scholarships.

I've only had one! I'm Amazed! you either play the sims 2 ALOT more then I do or you're just real lucky.

You know, when you look at the silver eyes of the twins they really aren't silver. They are more of a very light yellow or off white.
