Minerva Windling Has a Spare
Things were moving along at Windling Gables. Atlas, Gaston and Cornelius still stargazed every night. The youngsters Evander and Vulcan were now toddlers and played in the nursery every day. Minerva still had one major task ahead of her though, a spare to go with the third generation heir.

Since "the boys" spent their nights stargazing and their days recuperating that left Minerva to care for the youngsters, on top of taking care of herself and not being able to meditate this made things quite challenging. It was still a lot of fun though.

Being in perma-plat helped a lot. Honestly, who can resist little ones such as these? At least Vulcan has chubby little cheeks to offset that non-existent nose of his.

Just before it's ttime to head off to stargaze I let Cornelius play with his son Vulcan a bit, Vulcan is estatic. Whenever I do nice things like this for my Sims that divert from the point gaining schedule it always seems like my Sims are way more pleased and excited then they would be normally and it always makes me feel bad. For a little while anyway.

Evander turned out alright, so far at least. He does have Amy's squashed nose, but nothing really bad from his father. I'll have to see how his sibling turns out before I decide on an heir.

After I cancelled the "play with" interaction Cornelius assumed this pose. After hopping up and down a bit he finally sat back down properly and got up properly again.

I just think Evander looks so cute in this picture. It was also at this point that I accidently discovered what exactly the potty training glitch was. I cancelled the interaction right as Minerva was beginning to look bored to send her to the energizer, I hadn't realized her needs were so low. Evander instantly became potty trained. Now that's handy. Not sure if I'm going to continue to knowingly use it or not now.

Amy's nose squashed out even more three generations down then it did two generations down. I just hope that he grows into it. Silly Sim genetics.

Of course it was at this point that Amy began to haunt. Her first order of business was to mourn her own death.

Her second was to check in on her daughter and let her know she was okay.

Evander and Vulcan, best friends for life. I'm sorry if I'm laying on the toddler pics too thick, I just think that for poorly nosed kids, these guys are just too cute. I didn't notice until I took this picture that Evander had sponge bob on his shirt.

Cornelius, Gaston and Atlas sharing breakfast after a long night stargazing. They do this every morning and so they are the tightest knit group of guys I've played in this challenge. I'm telling you, it's all in the schedule.

Zeus began haunting the night after Amy did. It was at this point that I realized that the only reason my mausoleum worked in my classic legacy challenge was because the house was on ground level while the mausoleum was on a foundation. With both on a foundation the ghosts freely haunt both buildings. Very irritating.

Whle taking care of the toddlers (again) Minerva went into labor. Finally, no more pregnant cranky Sims for awhile.

It was a girl, I named her Elissa.

Now there were three youngsters in the nursery, yikes!

Just before it was time for the toddlers to grow up I had Minerva work with them to get in one last power want. Evander was less than pleased. Typical cranky Windling.

At least his toddler years were finally over, Vulcan's too, they would be much easier to care for now.

Here is Evander as a child, with a not-so-squashed nose.

And, here is Vulcan in his cute little space pajamas, with a still very tiny and silly looking nose.

The toddlers are absolutely adorable (nice glitch, by the way XD)-- I have no idea how you manage it, though. Interesting pose on Cornelius's part, and you have a point schedule to get all those maximized skills? And I thought I was all hot for having my one Sim, Hannah, maximize Creativity before she was a Teenager...

I am so jealous of everyone that gets to have alien births! I have never had an alien abduction or birth in the entire time I've played the Sims 2. And I have tried so hard to have one! I think I must have a glitch or something. Anyhoo, I love the Windlings! They're so cute! I hope you don't mind if I add you to my links list on my blog. I've started the Prosperity Challenge and I'm super excited! Check it out and let me know what you think!

Hey Bitsy, thanks for the comments! I'm glad that I wasn't the only one who checked LTWs, at first I felt a little bad about it. :)
It is a really fun challenge... especially for a control freak trying to loosen up a bit. I'm surprised more people haven't tried it.
