The HQ Redux
Theia Windling was the third born child of Prometheus and Maura Windling and the twin sister of Asia Windling. She, along with her twin and her younger brother Atlas moved in with their father's cousin Jan when Theia was only a child. She led a care free childhood at The Farmhouse but, as all children do, she soon grew up. She found a life mate in the local firewoman Madeline that had, quite daringly, saved her and her siblings from a horrible fire started when Jan stroked the embers in The Farmhouse's fireplace. Hence the reason the new farmhouse dosen't have a fireplace.
Theia and Madeline married and moved into a small cottage they dubbed Windling Party Central. After awhile though their careers in law enforcement took up too much of their time and they stopped having parties and started concentrating on having a family. They adopted a troubled little boy named Chase who was constantly getting into fights. He once even beat up his new cousin Lindsay! Sometime after that Theia's brother Atlas developed the same sex pregnancy serum and Theia took some and became pregnant. Some time later she gave birth to a darling well behaved little boy they named Dionysus.
A bonus from work allowed Theia and Madeline to move out of Windling Party Central and buy a new home with extra bedrooms for the boys, they barely fit in the small room they were in now. They purchased a, still quite small, three bedroom home called The HQ from which to run their policing efforts and hoped this was a sign of better times ahead for their small family.

The HQ is a very small three bedroom, two bathroom home. It features a ground floor kitchen/dining room, living room/office, bathroom and nursery. The upstairs has two bedrooms and a game room. The basement has a bathroom, a common area that is essentially a skills room with two back rooms holding an energizer and a lie detector and finger prints scanner for the police officers in the family to practice on. The back porch has a grill and the back patio has lounge chairs and a hot tub. There is also a most expensive telesope by the back pond and a swing behind the trees in the back right corner of the lot. There is also room for a driveway to either side of the lot but the right side better accomodates it.

It looks incredible-- the Book Nook is my favorite (LOVE IT), but this is a really close second. I'd download all of your homes, but I doubt that the coding would work-- I've got a Mac, and as what seems like the entire rest of the world runs on Windows, our coding would probably be different, so I wouldn't be able to load any of them. *sigh* At least I get the great pictures! :P

Hm, your comment got me curious so I poked around MTS2 to see if windows made .sims2packs work in macs. It turns out they do! You just need to install it using the Content Installer. I found a thread here that talks about it. If you want, I can start offering tars on my site too, I was thinking about doing it anyway. Let me know if this works for you, it would be cool if it did!

I'll try it out-- it'd be great to download your houses, as I absolutely LOVE them. Of course, before I can do that, I'll have to figure out what the heck you were talking about. Content Installer? .sims2pack? Tars? *blink*
I'd better check that thread first-- hopefully it'll keep me from being confused. ;) Thanks for the notice! I appreciate it.

Double comment... :D
It actually turned out to be simple, once I had consulted my official Sims 2 guide book (the 250 page one XD) and found out that Content Installer for you is Package Installer for me due to the computer difference. So it was REALLY easy to download in the end-- just press, like, three buttons and you're done. Thanks for the help! ^^

This is spectacular! I'll definitely use it for one of my families.

how do you get diagonal furniture?
Posted by: Emmy on November 8, 2008 11:35 AM
You use the cheat:
boolProp allow45DegreeAngleOfRotation true
Then just rotate it like you normally would with the added options of placing it diagonally. It came with University. Might work with later EPs too, but I don't know for sure.
