Minerva Windling Graduates From College
As Gaston had been merged into the FUN Greek House (Gawain was an adult and so would not be moved in until Venus was of a similar age, and back at the main lot) the game generated a new lama mascot. This one's name was Midas Woodlore.
While the Greek House was full to bursting with second generation Windlings and their roommates and future spouses the game decided to throw in a little more mahem by having a coach drop by. Her name was Fauna Oppenheim, and I've never seen a Sim look more shrewish.
While the coach was going about scolding my pizza chowing college students the cheerleader and the cow mascot once again came out of their bubble induced haze to realize a hated enemy was at the next cushion over. A fight ensued.
I hit save at this point and booted out to reboot the computer because Windows Update was driving me up a wall. I booted back into the lot to find the cheerleader like this...
... and the cow mascot like this. Just before landing on his butt while the cheerleader lept up and brushed off her hands at a job well done.
Meanwhile Gaston and Minerva's romance was blossoming slowly. Gaston was completely besotted with Minerva but Minerva didn't seem very interested in him. I suppose I couldn't blame her, he was a tad overweight and, well, very ugly.
Gemini, who at long last was at college with all of his brothers and sisters, was feeling a bit blue as he didn't have much of a love life. So I had him befriend a dormie named Padma Cloudkicker. Finding out that she was a Knowledge Sim was just an added perk so I went ahead and had her merged into the household as well.
Mercury's aspiration was also slipping a tad, but I had him change aspiration during his Junior year, instead of inflicting on some unsuspecting sod. I rolled Fortune, yay! He perked up considerably after that.
Venus and Gawain were like peas in a pod. They well and truly loved each other and seemed to get along spectacularly. I couldn't wait to get them moved in and started on the next generation. Too bad I had already chosen to have Minerva be the "true" heir for which bloodline heir points at college counted and so she was going to graduate and start her family line first. Ah, well.
Minerva graduated first. Here the taxi that dropped her and Alana off at the community lot got stuck behind some gossiping dormies. When I had Minerva make the call to go back to Pangea she grew up and the second taxi got stuck behind the first. She got in and the game waited for awhile for the gossiping dormies to move on before finally just having the taxis disappear into thin air, one at a time.
Gaston graduated soon after. I used a hacked object to speed up when the finals would happen, and so had them take the final the moment the grade meter was full. This allowed Gaston to graduate before a lot of the Windlings. I ended up discontinuing the practice because having them doing it the long way meant more money and more friends for my Sims. They went through college so fast the other way, though...
Points Earned:
3 points for Minerva graduating Summa Cum Laude, having 15 friends at graduation and having earned over §20,000 at graduation.

Ooh, great update! I'm looking forward to your next one. ^^ Shame that Minerva is your "true" heir; I'm really a fan of Venus, myself.

Jasmine is nearly finished with college and is just working on finding a husband. Hopefully I will be able to get her back to the main house, hubby in tow, by next week and I will definitely be posting an update by then. Thanks for all the nice comments you have been posting, Sara and Stephanie, I really appreciate them!
