Zeus Windling Sends Kids To College
As soon as Mercury got home from Windling Market I sent the poor guy out to Zeus' cow plant.

The cow plant proceeded to sniff around him a bit.

Mercury pushed the thing back... and, it gave up! I had to tell Mercury to "Grab the Cake" again, this time the cowplant took the bait and ate him up.

So, I got my zombie!

His mother was not pleased.

He lost most of his skill points and his personality went down the tubes. Other then the new skin condition and his limping walk he was still the same old Mercury, he still enjoyed going to school...

... and work.

Sophie meanwhile had graduated from ALT and merged back into Windling Gables. I had her change aspiration Junior year and she became a Knowledge Sim. So I had her max her skills on the main lot, squabbling over career reward objects and thinking caps with the youngest of Zeus and Amy's brood before moving out and moving in with her boyfriend Minos. This happened during a very busy time so the only image I have of it is at the community lot where she moved out (you could no longer move out of the Greek House directly). When the taxi drove up her leaving was delayed as Embla and Diana decided it would be a good idea to hang out in the street directly in front of it.

Back at the main lot, Mercury was working on re-earning his skill scholarships in between maintaining his good standing at work and school. Alana was nearly ready to leave, Venus and Minerva had already left, and it looked like Gemini, the baby of the family, would be the last to leave Windling Gables for college.

At Fruhma Urele Nagard Venus had acquired a taste for southern clothing. Meanwhile, my sneaking suspicion about most cheerleaders bears out...

While at college both of my heirs found love. One willingly, one not so winllingly. Venus met hers while making her bed in the dorimitory bedroom. What better man to marry then one that lets you see it all before you even tumble him into bed? His name was Gawain.

Venus thought he was pretty hot.

Gawain agreed.

Then Venus screamed when she realized he was naked. You'd think she would have realized this eminately, maybe she hadn't quite woken up yet.

He was a tad piggy, especially since this generation (save for the now zombiefied Mercury) was actually pretty tidy, but I suppose I could put up with it.

Minerva meanwhile was having a much more rocky courtship with the spouse I had chosen for her, Gaston the lama mascot.

They didn't agree on very much, it seemed. It didn't help that Minerva doesn't have the sweetest disposition in the world.

She wasn't very impressed with his cheers either, poor guy.

When the cheerleader and the rival mascot finally realized who they were blowing bubbles with (after five or six hours of peaceful mutual blowing admist a shower of pink and yellow bubbles, giggles and bizarre conversations about goldfish that you would have thought they'd have bonded over at least somewhat) the two got into a rip-roaring brawl. I was rather exasperated with Minerva when she came out of the bathroom just to cheer on the rival mascot. Too bad Minerva, the decision has been made. Besides the rival mascot is a Romance Sim. *shudders*

I had re-rolled Minerva's aspiration and it was now Knowledge. I also had moved in another dormie named Cornelius. He was also a Knowledge Sim. I was hoping to have Minerva move into Windling Gables first and take with her her husband and any kids from the previous generation and dormies that I had just moved in that are Knowledge Sims. After the death of Zeus and Amy the house could be empty enough to both bring in the next generation and have the guys try for an alien birth.

Points Earned: Two points for Zeus and Amy sending ten children to college. Two points for Venus, Minerva, Alana, and Gemini earning §9,500 in scholarships. One point for Mercury earning §11,000 in scholarships. One point for Sophie maxing her skills.

Right now I'm working on a Windling Home for Theia Windling's family, but I wouldn't mind creating a larger base game home for you. How many bedrooms would you like the house to have?
