Zeus Windling Goes To College
(Sorry for the low-quality images in the post. Don't worry the images will improve soon, I hadn't realized it was set on low quality until after I had booted out of the game.)
Zeus and Minos Windling were now both teenagers. Minos became a Romance Sim, so even though he was much better looking then his brother I decided to keep with Zeus for my heir.

They were both on a Knowledge-Sim like regime though as they worked at earning those scholarships for college! Before Zeus left, he not only had earned all seven skill based scholarships, I also had him go ahead and max his skills for the impossible want point.

I also worked on his friends base quite a bit. Before he even left for college he already had seven friends. These included the lovely Europa, who was still suffering from the ravages of my custom content over-haul...

... and Pan, who had just had a make-over from when I was re-building the Windling Farmhouse.

With Zeus nearly ready to transition into an adult, and Echo nearly ready to transition into an elder, Zeus finally strikes out on his own and is ready to head off to Academie Le Tour to start a new legacy with only §9,500 in his pocket.

This of course launches my first scary bug. I created and deleted a university twice to try and get rid of this and eventually gave up. (Yes I deleted the character files from the first attempt as well.) Essentially there are these two guys that are the same Sim. They always show up on a community lot together, one in plain clothes, one in a secret society's not so secret uniform. They also interact with one another. Complimenting each other, swinging together on the swings, or sitting on a bench and chatting. They always have such great conversations too as, naturally, they agree on everything. It's just a tad scary, you know?

I not only sent Zeus to college, I also sent Amy, of course.

I sent her later, of course, with his brother Minos...

... and Sophie Miguel to be Minos' love interest and hopefully to help boost his aspiration from time to time.

I had Zeus buy a house first semester. He founded Frumha Urele Nagard, the FUN Greek House! I had him pledge Minos and the girls right away. I have to say I'm glad I decided to do the University Legacy Challenge because otherwise I don't think I ever would have founded a Greek House. It actually is a lot of fun. The Sleeping on the Floor interaction is pretty cool, and randomly bringing home free pizza is a great perk to having a Greek House. Here the brothers are hanging out with Gaston the lama mascot and someone I am definitely looking forward to seeing married into the family.

The only thing that seems to be a bit off with the house is the fact that the one bathroom has become grand central as far as FUN is concerned.

Maybe I should look at investing in a table.

Here is Amy re-done with a Windling-look, once she could finally get to the mirror, anyway.

For some reason Sophie and the cheerleader Phoebe Lightfoot had a bit of a problem with each other. They came to blows pretty often whenever Phoebe came over to hang out. And, yeah, everyone painted in their spare time, I made sure to have Zeus be the one to sell them all as well.

For the first time in my game the mascot and the rival mascot meet. They start off with an agreeable conversation...

.. that proceeds...

.. into an all out brawl. My first fight in the Sims 2.

Meanwhile two big things were going on, one I was having Minos get some action on the side from his Art professor Prof. Veronica. Which Sophie had somehow managed to not find out about yet.

I was also getting Zeus and Amy ready for graduation. I had them both change their aspiration at Junior year and managed to have them both made into Family Sims. Sheer luck was on my side that time. I moved the two of them out and had Zeus plop down on a 5 x 5 lot back in Pangea. I merged Amy in and built them a two-story windowless shack with enough money left over to adopt a child with. Both Zeus and Amy had over §20,000 when they were in the neighborhood bin. Of course, guess who is in the Welcome Party? The town gossip, Apollo.

"So, what's going on?"
Points earned: 1/2 point for §9,500 in scholarships. One point for an impossible want. Three points for having 15 friends at graduation, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and earning §20,000 before graduation.
