The Market Redux
Windling Market was built around third generation because I was sick and tired of my Sims walking around in default wear. Up until then my Sims always ordered their groceries on the phone, and never really went anywhere to buy any games or magazines or what have you.
After looking everywhere for a simple, small community lot for my simple, small laptop that couldn't handle big lots or going for any real length of time without saving, I came up depressingly short. The lots were either huge, or were specialized with only clothes and magazines, or only food and games, meaning I had to hop several community lots before going home and risk freezing my game.
So I set out to build my own community lot to meet my own needs. I set down a 3 x 2 lot and set about building a very simple series of stores to fit my Sims needs. I have recently had to go back and throw in some things that are relevant to University, so I went for the full re-haul. I re-did the place in the Windling style and switched to all default content.
Now I offer the place where eight generations of Windlings have met, shopped, wooed and hooed up for download for anyone looking for a small lot with only the essentials.
The Market comes with a grocery store, male and female bathrooms, a very small clothing store, an espresso bar with pool table, a game stand, a magazine rack, a tech-kiosk, chess tables, park benches, grill and seating area.
Please let me know if there are any problems with this lot.
