An Old-Fashioned House
My internet connection was extremely wonky last night and I ended up losing last nights post. SBC, while allowing me to connect to Yahoo Messenger with no problem, was not allowing me to load any sites and I spent a large part of yesterday being very frustrated. It helps that we live near an SBC center though because that gives me a physical place to go and throw rocks at when things go wrong like this.
An Old-Fashioned House is built from a house plan I found in an old Crafstman Homes book. I altered the layout slightly because a.) Craftsman thinks that a four bedroom home only needs one bathroom and a year of playing Sims has proved otherwise, and b.) Sims dosen't think that a recessed back porch can go that far into the house without supports for the roof above it. So, I offer for download an old-fashioned four bedroom, two and half bath home with just enough space on either side for a small driveway.

The back:

The first floor:

The second floor:

I say that the house is a four bedroom but I don't actually use them all as bedrooms in my game. I have a family living there that only uses two as bedrooms and the other two have been converted into a career/aspiration reward room and a pool/dance/band room for teens respectively.
Please let me know if there are any problems with this lot.

That house is beautiful. I downloaded it, and I'm looking forward to playing in it.

Gorgeous! I love the outside paintjob. Very creative! Looks really neat. I downloaded it, but again, I don't have time to play it. But someday, I will!

Great house, Bitsy! I'm downloading this one, too. I love Craftsman-style homes. :-)
