Honestly Try 101 New Foods and/or Drinks: Assam Tea

There is a tea shop just down the block from us that sells tea, assorted tea related paraphernalia and, well, tea. The place is called Serene Teaz and we pass by often and admire the beautiful tea sets they have in the window. We meandered on in a few weeks ago and they offered us free samples of some of their teas (hot or cold). We ended up picking our two different teas and I only just got around to trying one of them.

Assam (Fatikcherra Estate) Tea, as it says on its label, is made from Assam from India. It smelled interesting enough and so I decided to go one morning without Liptons to give it a try. The final verdict? Meh. It was palatable, slightly spicy, and good enough that I could drink a whole mug without issue but, when it comes right down to it, I prefered my Liptons over it and probably would only fall back on it as a last resort. All in all, not very impressed.

Well, that makes three!
