I saw this on someone's blog and thought I would post it over here.
1. Pick one dozen movies that are ones that you have special feelings about.
2. Pick a few lines of dialogue that mean something to you.
3. As people guess the film, strike out that entry.
4. If possible, after the film is guessed, explain why that movie made the list.
Only instead of having the lines mean something to me it's going to be a line that I remember. At least to the best of my ability.
So, to clarify, below there are twelve quotes numbered one through tweleve, each from a different movie that I like. Leave a comment with your guesses for what movie each quote belongs to. Some are hard, some are easy, some might not be completely right but they are close enough as to be recognizable. Good luck.
1. Answer Guessed Do you always douse someone that comes into your bedroom with flame retardant chemicals? No wonder you're single.
2. You want to put me on the couch? Fine, here, I'm on the couch.
3. Answer Guessed Has it ever occured to you that maybe you're not too big? That maybe this place is just too small?
4. Wait a minute, is that us? This is not normal.
5. What do you mean? I've always been taller then you.
6. Answer Guessed You mean for all they've got lions and tigers in India... they haven't got skipping ropes?
7. Dude. Two words: need new skates.
8. Communicating. Keeping up foriegn relations. You know, giving him the bird.
9. Answer Guessed Ain't nobody understand the words that are coming out of your mouth.
10. Why is it always me?
11. Answer Guessed How can we sail to an island that nobody can find with a compass that doesn't work?
12. Answer Guessed I think I can tell the right sort for myself, thanks.
When the answer is correctly guessed I will put the text "Answer Guessed" before the quote. Mousing over it will then give you the movie. I'm hoping this will be fun.
